Dr. Ninfa Alcasid, MD

Alcasid is adequate- been there when she didn’t face my mom once during the visit. The office staff is mean spirited. Today was it - last straw. Mom lost a prescription, asked if I could arrange for/pick up a new one. yes of course - I’d do anything (almost) for my mother. hadn’t expected a visit to the Dr’s office so I didn’t have a mask.As soon as I arrived, I rushed past the line of patients & politely asked for a mask (I addressed two employees standing to the sidewalk of reception. It was my belief that since it is a law to be masked that I’d need one asap). was told “Get in line” ??- it would have taken seconds to provide me w/ a mask.But - did what I was told - stood ten mins. When I got to reception - the woman who told me to get in line, plopped down a mask. I said “what’s the point now. You are rude.” Response - “I couldn’t have you cut the line.” Ok - guess it was better to violate a law Coleen - where was the logic? Getting a new Dr. - I cannot tolerate rudeness again

Although I have found Dr. Alcasid a good primary care doctor, I am now looking for a new one. I and my pharmacist have been calling her office for SEVEN WEEKS to have a prescription renewed and neither of us has spoken with anyone or even been able to leave a message. The last time I was in the office and mentioned this problem I was told they only had 2 or 3 lines for all the docs and staff. What good is a doctor who can't be reached? Bye!

True-she’s hasty and quiet awful especially if you advocate for a FAMILY MEMBER-the staff are Rude too! I wouldn’t recommend Dr. ALCADID To Anyone!

Dr. Alcasid deserves many accolades. I personally witnessed her reviewing the medical history and medications for my mother. After doing so, Dr Alcasid recommendations improved her condition enormously. She is highly trained, caring. competent, listens to her patients and pays attention to the details. It is comforting to know that my mother's doctor is looking out for her well being.

Not good. The office staff was always indifferent and/or rude. They ignore you and never greet you unless you are their friend. Dr. was always rushing. I just found another doctor and him and his staff are very nice.
