Dealing With a Child (honestly very sad)
I feel really bad for her. I felt like I was dealing with a little child...at one point I even tried not to laugh because of her reaction. She interrupted constantly, making assumptions about what I was about to say. I told her she was interrupting and I think it broke her brain. It obviously really upset her (I don't think she can handle any type of feedback at all?) but she clearly denied her emotions and became very passive aggressive. It made me think she must have had a really hard childhood if her emotional processing is this clearly stunted. This woman is clearly going through some type of mid-life crisis. Don't take her immaturity/passive aggressiveness etc personally, just see another doctor! She needs healing and therapy and I truly wish that for her, for her to find some type of inner peace.

Worst doctor I have ever seen in my entire life!
Dr Pitchetshote was annoyed and arrogant the minute she walked in the room. She minimizes any and all of your complaints with “that’s not a big deal”. upon examining my abdomen (which is painful) she sighed and rolled her eyes that I guarded when she pressed in. The follow up appts on zoom were an utter nightmare. She is argumentative and demeaning and then writes her own narrative in the clinical notes (communication bias). She is absolutely the coldest, rudest, most obtuse doctor I have ever encountered. God have mercy on the poor patients that will be subjected to this demeanor at USC. Her very brief stint at UCLA clearly didn’t work out for obvious reasons. Horrendous attitude and ego. Truly deplorable care. Has no interest in patients and seems as if she hates people and her job. Never responded to any messages even though she said if you have any questions write me in MyChart…then never responded. Awful doctor. Maybe she should go work in research away from people.

unresponsive, unhelpful and rude
I have to echo to the other reviewers by saying my experience with Dr. Pichetshote was terrible. She was actually great in our in-person appointment, but after that I had a hard time getting any information from her or from her staff. I was very confused about what was happening with my care and had to literally beg the staff to have Dr. Pichetshote call me. She finally did and seemed actually annoyed about it and rushed me through the call. And I have to state that I am not a needy patient. I just want basic explanations of what is happening and what meds I'm being prescribed. I've never had an experience like this with a doc. I recently received a letter that she left the UCLA Health Beverly Hills practice, and I was so relieved.

Very Cold, Rude and Causes Anxiety
Horrible doctor because of bedside telephone manner. Worst on call doctor I have come across. Doesn’t listen to understand and took 4 hours to reach- 3 phone call attempts to UCLA oncall reception cause they couldn’t get her while she was working on call. Had gastro issues and she told me to go to ER without listening to my issues and said if you think it’s an emergency (calling the oncall doctor-her) then go to ER. ER said I needed to see a gastro. She caused me anxiety and hopelessness which is a danger to patients.

I have been having bad visit experiences with Dr Nipaporn Pichetshote. I have been under her care in the last 4 years and I have had no improvement to my condition. She’s the most rude, uncaring doctor that I've came across. Her administrative office and nurses are wonderful people but Dr Pichetshote is unbelievably under qualified, with major attitude to cover her lack of medical knowledge. I questions the few 5 stars reviews - They look fake reviews to me. Is Dr Pichetshote that shady to organize fake reviews?

Had lots of pain following a Bravo PH study. I had the procedure done on a Friday morning. I tried to get in touch with the doctor that same afternoon to find out if it was normal. She never called to check in on me, which is normal when having a procedure done (at least in my experience). After visiting urgent care and talking to my referring GI doctor, she finally called me the following week. She also said the results of the study would take 5-8 days to be ready so I scheduled a follow up with my referring doctor to go over the results for the following week. The report had not been sent to my referring doc at the time of my appt (making the appt pretty much waste a time) and one week later the report has still not been sent. I have tried to get it myself several times but keep getting transferred and most recently told I have to fill out a form and it can take 5-10 days to get report (!). My doc doesn't know what's taking so long. It's now been 2 1/2 weeks. Just unacceptable.

Best GI we have ever had! We have been to Dr Pitchetshote multiple times and always have received attentive care. She listens to young patients and parents alike. Before Dr P, we spent 6 years trying to get answers and correct treatment. She was thorough, conservative, and effective in her treatment. Bedside manner was impeccable. Thank you for making it possible for our daughter to attend college. She was the game changer.

Dr. Pichetshoke came across as cold and almost rude. A doctor can be efficient but also show an interest in her patient. There was none of the latter. I spent lots of money to travel across the country to see her and she acted as if she were doing me a huge favor just to complete the appointment. I don’t think she had even looked at my records prior to the appointment. There were some good suggestions for my care but follow-up has been poor. Questions to her, via her nurses, are not always answered. All in all a very disappointing experience.

I feel like Dr Pichetshote only goes through the motions with patients. She follows a standard routine with no care or concern for the patient. For several visits she had guest doctors, mainly from Canada, accompanying her. She has more interest in showing off the office to the other doctors than proving care and attention to patients.

I was very happy with Dr. Pichetshote. A couple of the other posters didn't like that she tends to structure the meeting so that she can gets her questions in first but I think that approach makes more sense for the doctor and the patient. . At the end of the meeting, she gave me plenty of time to ask questions and she took time to answer them thoroughly. I found her very respectful and pleasant and would go back to her again if I need a follow-up.

This doctor couldn't care less about my health. She set the rules at the first visit; she speaks first then I may ask questions. Then she seems exasperated to have to answer my questions. She is very inaccessible outside of your appointment. I was having side effects from medication she prescribed. I could not get a response from her or the staff. Dr. Pichetshote is not up to the excellent standards of Cedars-Sinai.

Dr. Pichetshote has been the best GI doc I have seen to date. It is sometimes difficult to schedule with her but I would not go to another doctor for my GI issues after having gone to her.

I don't think she means to be, but often Dr. Pitchers home can seem condescending and uncaring, I do not feel that she cares very much about my medical progress or that she is happy to answer my questions. Is may not be true, but that is how I feel and as a patient I don't think that I should feel that way. Although she seems very intelligent and capable, but I would not recommend her. I hope that she recognizes how important patient's trust in their doctor is to the process.

I met with Dr. Pichetshote on 1/4/16 for SIBO. She rushed me through our appt, never followed up during my antibiotic treatment and refused to respond to my emails and vm messages. She was extremely rude and verbally abusive. I feel much worse after my treatment. She told me to contact one of the nurses and not to bother her. I am shocked she is part of Dr. Mark Pimentel's team. It reflects poorly on him and Cedars SInai. She should be stripped of her license. Incompetent and rude!
