She lost her way.
My mother had her as a primary when she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017, and she treated my mother very well. As a result, my dad decided to choose her as his primary shortly after my mother's passing. His health was doing fine at first, but recently he started to have health complications this year. On one visit his sitting BP was 92 over 63, and he lost 40 lbs in a matter of 4 months without trying. Her practice didn't investigate it at all, and he ended up in the emergency room with a standing orthostatic BP of 37 over 0. Well, it turned out that they decided to keep him on his hypertension meds including a diaretic dispute his diagnosis of stage 3a CKD. She WAS a good doctor before her practice exploded with patients, but I wouldn't recommend her to my goldfish now.

Reception is awful
Love Dr. Sharma--but her receptionists are awful. I have had so many issues getting paperwork when asking the front desk. They just don't do it. Furthermore they are extremely rude and dismissive any time I've called--no matter how pleasant I am. I just came to this practice a couple years ago, and I'm already shopping for a new one due to the receptionists. There has been a clerical error on their part, but I cannot get through to anyone to correct it. I have hours in to contacting Dr. Sharma's office, my insurance company and the school about this issue. And as of this writing, nothing has been resolved--except now I have the claim they made. Either they will fix their records, or they will pay the claim back. Absolutely ridiculous to be driven to such lengths from (as far as I can tell) an extremely incompetent office.

Dr. Sharma was great when I first saw her.
During the years I saw her she became very distant as my doctor. Not only to me, but my entire family. During a family members yearly appointment Dr. Sharma pulled up my chart on the computer and wanted to discuss it with my family member. Big HIPPA violation. I changed doctors after my family member told me.

Wonderful
Dr Sharma always takes the time to discuss my medications and ailments. I always feel as she has given me all of her attention. She listens and gives options whenever possible. I feel as if I have a say in my own care. She is very through every visit and her staff mirrors the same.

I changed to Dr Sharma in May. Today I had a post op complication from a knee replacement. She had me in her office as soon as they opened and across the street for a Doppler as a precaution. Although I did not have the classic signs of a blood clot, I had one with partial blockage behind my knee. Her diagnosis and treatment may have saved my life. She showed genuine concern. Her staff had always followed up promptly with any questions I have.

PA's have horrible bedside manner. Dr. Sharma's office has been going downhill for about 3 years now. My son almost ended up in the hospital because of the PA refused to give him any medicine. She also was very rude to me. A number of people that I know also think her office is going downhill. They have left to find new doctors and that is what I will be doing today as well.

I have been a patient of their office for a couple years now and their practice and customer service has slowly started to declineI have had issues with my medications as well as billing documents. I was billed for a physical that i never received and when trying to get that figured out i was given an attitude on the phone by Michelle, told they will gladly release me as a patient to someone new and hung up on. I thought doctors offices were suppose to be there to help you....

Dr. Sharma was my primary physician for several years and I liked her - she took time with me and really listened to my concerns. Sadly I had to leave her and find another Dr. when my insurance co. did not cover her on my plan. Now I have changed plans and am once again seeing her - I am so happy to be back!

Dr Sharma seemed great the ONE time I met her. Since then I have been seeing a physician assistant and that has been a joke. I cannot get anyone to call me back from there. Also, one time I was referred to a specialist and when I arrived the specialist's office they did not have any of the results or reasons for me being there. What a waste of a sick day. Lastly, I have had reception explain test results to me. That is very unprofessional, especially since reception can't answer my questions.

I had diabetes along with anemia for approx.15 years, while going to several doctors who tried to determine where blood loss was coming from. A neighbor recommended Dr.Sharma and she actually listened to me instead of arrogantly overriding my input as all the others had done. By listening she zeroed in on the anemia cause & after an operation I no longer have anemia or diabetes. I wouldn't consider going to any other doctor. She has a wonderful kind & patient manner as well.

I have seen Dr. Sharma for many years now. She takes care of my diabetes, allergies, and many other ailments I have to deal with. I would not get the care I receive from Dr. Sharma at other physicians offices. She is always spot on with my diagnosis and the medicine or treatment she recommends. I always recommend Dr. Sharma when someone is in need of a great physician...Cheryl Acker
