Dr. Nitin Govani, MD

I have been going to Dr Govani since I was around 40.I am 70 now.I would recommend him to anyone. My son and his wife go to him also.Never have to wait for an appointment.Calls you quickly if leave message for youHas always known what is wrong with me without a lot of tests and costly procedures.

If there were a negative scale, it would be -5. Treats patients in nursing homes without seeing them. Prescribes massive drugs without ever seeing patients. RUN from his so called care

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Govani from the time he took over the practice. He is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever had. My wife hates blood draws and is not an easy patient when she sees a needle. Dr. Govani is the only one she will let draw her blood. He apologizes for the pain she feels throughout the draw even though he is so good, I do not even feel the stick when it is my turn. The Doctor will happily take the time to answer questions, pull out diagrams and charts to explain things and will follow up with you when needed. He is efficient and fast but not to the point that he will sacrifice personal attention to the patient he is with. I have rarely had to sit in the waiting room more than a few minutes which goes to the way the office staff runs and schedules appointments. They are great. We moved about 40 minutes away 20 years ago and refused to find another Doctor that is closer. We make the trip to the westside because Dr. Govani is that good.

Dr.Govani has been my doctor for over 15 years. He is very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions and concerns. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially the office manager. She knows everyone by face alone and treats everyone like friends. I read the negative reviews which is what prompted me to write this one. I'm guessing the writer of those reviews were just angry and uncompliant. I would highly recommend this office.

Worst experience I have ever had in a doctor’s office. The female receptionist with dyed red hair is a very angry person, and should never be in contact with patients. I am a cardiac patient, and that receptionist made me feel very uncomfortable due to her obvious anger issues toward the world. She even used profanity. Dr. Govani is the most unprofessional “doctor” if you want to call him that? He didn’t want to talk with me, was in a big hurry and shooed me out the door. The office is very cold in all sense of the word. Do not go to him, please don’t waste your time. He is awful, most unwelcoming, unpleasant and unprofessional.

I have been seeing Dr. Govani since I was 18 i am 33 now. He also saw my dad which he saved on multiple occasions. Dr govani is one of the best doctors you will meet in your life time.

He is an alright doctor but his staff are rude and are very nasty to me and I am a person of color have never been spoken to like this from a physician but his staff is nasty rude and very nasty to me and I am not standing for it I have reported them to my insurance company if your not in that kind of stuff don't go to his office"

He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and then discuss his findings and possible options.

Concerned about you as a person. Great listener. He is there when you need him.

Dr. Govani has been my PCP for over 7 Yrs. and he and his staff are excellent. He has correctly diagnosed what was ailing me twice before when hospital emergency Drs. call was wrong. He is polite, precise, and error free with his appt's. While he is quick, he also will take the time needed to give you proper care !

Patient, honest and hard working. . Super fast responses through My Chart. Always recommend to anyone looking for a new Dr. Office staff is great also.

Great doctor, straight to the point, personable, no wait time, my elderly aunt was seen at her appointment time.

AWFUL doctor who refuses to examine the patient. I went to see Dr. Govani today for the first time as he is my new assigned doctor with Molina. He was awful. I came in for help with my plantar fasciitis and he refused to even examine me. He gave me medicine and said he could look at my foot next time. I also asked to have a mammogram because I have a cyst I am keeping an eye on and a history of breast cancer. He said that I am too young to need a mammogram and wouldn't even look.
