I've had two dealings with her, first was very rude to us while she was seeing my father. My father was on medication and nit his normal self, he reached for her charts or notes and she slapped his hand and pointed at him and told him NO. I fired her then and asked for another Dr, the she saw my mother and was very short, rude and arrogant. My mother asked a question and she said you can talk to the nurse about it. I feel she's only here for the money, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Do you want a good Dr or someone to pat your hand?
After reading through some reviews recently after my child has seen Dr B for @ a year and 1/2, I’ve noticed familiar actions being complained about. Personally I have seen the “bedside manner” issue in a different light. We have been through our rounds of drs in last few years with my now 12 yr old. Bedside manner is not what helps you. He also had an obvious “angry/rage” reaction to meds pretty quickly. When brought up the suggestion of meds causing other issues to become more obvious or escalated and was advised to seek assistance In Another direction which was correct. After getting that issue addressed we have been doing great! And I add no seizures since 11/11/21!! Our 2 year mark is right around the corner! My point is, I have come to appreciate a Dr that gives me the impression that she is confident in her work. She is very kind in her own special way. You just need to know how to accept “Dr talk”. Short answers don’t bother me. Making my little boy better is. Thanx Dr B!

Definitely will NEVER recommend
Did not care to listen to anything we had to say. No bedside manner. Seemed to have her mind made up before walking in the door.

Dr. Baker was the neuro who saw me after I was admitted to CTMF because I began having seizures again. I had the EEG leads on and was monitored for 3 days. I had an awful H/A the entire time. It wasn’t one of my normal migraines, and the meds they were giving me were not working at all. After I threatened to leave AMA she came in and added a 2nd med and discharged me. When they took the leads off, I had lacerations all over my head. I was allergic to the glue the entire time..causing my HA.

Dr Baker was on ER call when my husband went in because of a stroke. She seems like a wonderful doctor but when she came into his room the following day, she did not take time to answer questions. She walked out ignoring us after quickly checking him. She also said he could go back to work in a stressful position in 3 days Her bedside manner is hideous.

I would not recommend this doctor to see my dog. Her bedside maner is horrible and she examines the patient very roughly. After seeing my mother n law in hospital and she was released, my mother n law received a package full of meds in the mail that she never asked for nor was told about. Dr Baker should be looked into and not practicing in a hospital. If I could leave negative stars, I would!!! If u are using Dr Baker then u need a second opinion

In hospital she came to my room twice. Never came near me or family. Stood just inside door and announced that I wa having seizures and was increasing the dosage to 750 mg twice a day. She told my family I would need to increase to 1000 mg and stay on it for the rest of my life. My family asked for 24 h EEG and she refused. I became so weak I could hardly get out of bed. She is a selfish uncaring person.

Dr. Baker treated my sweet little boy for epilepsy years ago. He was tried on different drugs and one drug on a high dose caused him to have rage fits. She refused to believe the drug was causing it and told me, "By the time he's 15 he will be in juvenile detention," because she believed he was just being a "bad boy." I changed docs, who changed his meds, and his seizures stopped and his sweet personality returned. The new doc said some people are chemically sensitive and that less is more.

She is the pediatric neuro for trinity mother Francis hospital. She saw my 10mo old granddaughter who was having severe Seizures! Dad/SIL had just gotten custody of her, finding she was badly neglected and developmentally delayed. For Dr Baker to tell this young dad & myself that the baby will never get better, never walk/talk/etc., after 1 day of treatment, unless she's GOD, she can't! Bedside manner of a wet goat! If pedi neuro needed, use Children's/Dallas GREAT neuro team! Dr B..YOURE FIRED!
