not good visit
Dr. Lincoff had her office assistant do my visual field exam. This dr. was clueless as to why I was having issues with my eyes. She seemed uninterested in helping me get to the reason I was there. In fact, after 5 minutes I wondered myself why I was there. Never would I recommend this dr. to anyone.

Aggravating to deal with
Others speak highly of Dr. Lincoff and refer to her as "the best of the best", but Dr. Lincoff sees what she wants to see. If you don't fit her mold or expectations, she'll tell you that there's nothing "wrong" with you. She will directly discredit other professionals or test results too. I read my clinic summary and couldn't figure out who the hell she was talking about in it. There is a huge disconnect with this practitioner. She doesn't listen to you at all.

The Neuro-ophthalmologist I needed
She asked excellent questions, written and verbal, and paid attention to the answers. Told me the how and why of her treatment instructions. Informed my other doctors what she was doing and why. I like being her patient.

After waiting 4 months to have my appointment, she called and cancelled. Rescheduled for 4 weeks later. Had my long awaited appointment today, I waited an 1 hour and 45 minutes to be called into the room, where she complained that half her staff wasn't there and her computer wasn't working which she needs for her full examination. I was about to leave when she finally called my name.

Lincoff was an hour late, led me to a room and disappeared for another hour. She returned without comment, strangely talked for nearly 20 minutes about her own medical problems, allowed a colleague to walk in and sit down during my consultation and indicated she did not read my opthamologist's reports, provided weeks prior. She also dangerously misread my MRI. WNY medical care at its worst. Seek care outside the area for neuro-opthamology issues.
