Highly recommend!
My 69 year old father was diagnosed with moderate-to-severe regurgitation of the mitral valve, 60-70% blockage of his left coronary artery, and atrial fibrillation. Surgery was recommended to address these issues and we were considering scheduling surgery at the Cleveland Clinic despite the drive, but my dad’s cardiologist told us about Dr. Baumgartner and we decided to go with him. We are so glad that we did. Dr. Baumgartner successfully completed 2 bypasses around the left coronary artery (harvesting veins from the leg), a mitral valve repair rather than replacement (with no leak at all!), and the maze procedure for atrial fibrillation. My father has started his road to recovery without significant complications. Additionally, Dr. Baumgartner spoke to us kindly and explained things well. It’s obvious that he stays up-to-date on the latest research. The entire Parkwest staff was amazing. We are forever grateful to Dr. Baumgartner & the rest of the staff for saving my dad’s life!
