I was extremely disgusted with Dr. Roosen's assessment & demeanor. His cold and aloof personality was present the minute he began speaking. I've had prior ACDF surgeries and those Surgeons were professional, compassionate and attentive, Dr. Roosen clearly seemed distracted and unconcerned that I had loose medical hardware just below brain stem. My intuition told me to get away from him as he CLEARLY did NOT express any concerns about the high level of pain I had, nor my balance and instability issues. I walked out of his office before he was done...I knew my risks for paralysis or worse would skyrocket if I stayed under his care. When he exhibited total disregard for his Oath & puts patients at risk, Henry Ford Hospital should remove him from practice forthwith.

Back surgery
Dr Roosen is the best. My six hour surgery on my back wasbgreat. I was up and walking the next day. The following year when he was doing a follow up MRI, he found a nodule on my thyroid. I was contacted and advised to have my doctor order a cat scan. It turned out to be Thyroid Cancer. He’s great. 5 stars.
