Thorough and professional
Out of 8 neurosurgeons he was the ONLY one that sounded rational when it came to my spinal injury. Every other surgeon was just too eager not to mention over confident! He took the effort to go the extra mile when it came to investigating my situation, he ordered a myleogram when everyone else said there was nothing more to do. It changed everything about my situation! Every other surgeon would have only caused extensive damage and harm due to their ignorance and/or arrogance.

The office does a poor job on follow through with referrals. I have a brain anurism. I've been waiting 9 days for a referral to KU Med to see about what's next. I had to call the patient representative to get anything done. Dr. Bombar was rushed, acted irritated with our questions and was very vague as to where my anurism is even at. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Bamber. My pain was gone immediately upon waking from surgery! I was free from a pain that had been debilitating up thru my arm and shoulder. He cleaned up the stenosis in my neck bones and installed hardware. That was two years ago, I remain pain free this day. Everyone from the office staff up to Dr Bamber were Great!! I would definitely recommend.

Dr Bamber was great in explaining what the surgery would entail and also what to expect afterward. He removed a piece of disc that was pressing on my sciatic nerve. Recovery was immediate after surgery - I could walk without pain and stand up erect. Highly recommend Dr Bamber for any back related problem you have.

I really like Dr. Bamber. Because I had Spondylosis he performed an L4 L5 fusion 1 1/2 years ago. He was very helpful with my questions. Today I was released & am pain free. My advise to anyone doing this surgery is to follow doctor's orders 100% and go to PT but if you go to PT it is an absolute must to do the exercises when you return home. I still do my exercises often. If you are on the fence about surgery please go to Dr. Bamber--he is the Best!!
