Dr. Norman Harris, MD

I am 68 years old. I chose Dr Harris because all of the great reviews he had. Also because his name was mentioned to me several times. I am very pleased with my results!! Dr Harris is always so kind and smiling. Everything was explained to me before the surgery and during the surgery. His staff is great and very kind. I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you so much

The surgeon will likely respond to this review by confronting me about why I gave him one star and claim that 'he did his best for me' etc. to try to put himself in the best possible light. Or, he may respond by providing an insincere apology and invitation to come in and 'talk.' (I've been there already). He knows exactly why he is getting one star. I cannot stress it enough, not rely on reviews (which may not even be for the procedures you are considering) and not to rely on 'credentials.' I seriously recommend that you take the time to consult with other providers before making any decisions. I wish I had done this. A few hours drive away to explore your options could save you a lot of unbelievable turmoil later. I am writing this review because I don't want anyone else to experience what I have and still am experiencing now as a result of choosing this provider.

Poor job pre op explaining possible complications and left my hand less functional than before his "repair". Post op he failed to remove all my stitches and gas lit me about the reality of my poorly functioning hand.

Dr. Harris is the most talented in the Roanoke Valley

Great! At 65 I decided on a breast reduction...that was 3 months ago...Dr Harris made sure I knew what to expect every step of the way and made sure I was well taken care of and he was easily available by phone for post surgical concerns. The price of surgery was so reasonable, the results are perfect and it's the best thing I have ever done. Thank you Dr Harris.

Dr. Harris is one of the best. I have worked out in the sun all my life and I have a lot of problems with skin cancers I just got out of the hospital from nose, and head surgery for cancers, when I went in for a check up and take the stiches out he said every things gone you don't have to worry about them anymore.Easy to talk to and very friendly I would recommend him highly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harris for years. After multiple procedures and treatments, I can tell you that I would not go to anyone else. He is very kind, knowledgeable, attentive and discrete. I am thrilled with my results. He is very approachable and his prices are excellent. He has always been right on schedule and I have not had to wait for my appointments.

I have known dr Harris for about 5 years. . A total confidence booster/lip and acne scar depressions fillers. Today I had vollure lip augmentation after almost a year since my last one. Yes,it lasts. He listened to my concerns about pain/bruising and took time to premedicate before the procedure, which was pain free. He made the lips look perfect /natural. As I told him I would never go to any other provider for fillers and I would definitely recommend him to others. Wait time <5 min.

my wife suffered a dog bite wound that had required over 25 stitches to close at the emergency care facility we visited when it happened. After problems developed, we were referred to Dr Harris. He was able to prevent a major infection from occurring with his prompt attention to a new patient arriving at the end of the day. His continuing care and aviability at all times during the treatment period surpassed any doctor or group practice I have had experience with. I highly recommend him.

My husband and I are both physicians and were well aware of Dr Harris and his fine work, primarily related to skin cancer removal and hand repair for our patients for many years. Our patients always returned with wonderful reports. Most recently, we ourselves have required surgery for unexpected, life threatening melanomas. He understood our fears and treated us as he would a family member...promptly, expertly, ethically, with profound commitment to our wellness. Our results have been perfect.

I went in for a facelift, my primary concerns were my cheeks and jaws how the sag and made me look old. I explain over that was my primary concern and he felt he would not be an issue. I had the surgery and a few months later the problem slowly start coming back, the skin is sagging even more now two years later you can't even tell I had one. I went two other plastic surgeons they couldn't tell I had one. It will cost me another $6000 to get a proper one done. He wanted charge another $2500

I had made an appointment with Dr. Harris for my daughter to have a cyst removed from her forehead. He was excellent that day and also with her follow-up. I would highly recommend him...

Dr. Harris makes you feel at ease the moment you meet him. he is very professional and skilled in his work. He, also is a very nice man who assures you he will take care of you. I am so pleased to have him as my doctor.He is the best!!

Dr. Norman Harris will be the only person I use in the future for skin related surgeries and spot removals. He did an outstanding job with a spot I had on the tip of my nose and was able to remove a large spot on my son's head (age 10 with previous major physician anxiety) with using only a skilled hand and local anesthetic (other doctor's wanted to put my son completely under which Dr. Harris proved was completely unnecessary). His fees were very reasonable and his staff was very friendly. A+

A doctor who specializes in skin disease recommended Dr. Harris to me. In the couple of times I have seen Dr. Harris, I have found him to be caring, prompt, and serious about his work. I think what makes him special is that he genuinely loves what he does and desires to help others maintain good health and feel good about themselves. Dr.Harris is a very direct doctor that doesn't put up with b.s.he gets right to the point he has done two surgery's for me and two for my wife I'll give him an a+.great job Dr.Harris,Md I'm satisfied with my surgery.thanks,roger reed
