Dr. Norris Allen, MD

Dr. Allen is a disaster. After waiting an hour for him, he walked in, poked my legs a few times, said I should sit on an exercise ball more, and left in under two minutes without any eye contact or acknowledging us. We swore to never see him again, but he showed up as the doctor after my delivery too! He again did not acknowledge us, spoke only to the nurses, poked my legs, and said everything looked fine. In our medical records, he described my perfectly normal vaginal delivery, confirmed I met all the requirements for discharge, and noted he had asked the pertinent questions to determine I was not a risk to myself or my baby. In reality, I had an emergency C-section full of complications, had not done half the things necessary for discharge, and he never asked any questions to confirm that I did not have post-partum depression (or spoke to me at all). So, an absence of bedside manner, laziness that could jeopardize patient health, and committed medical fraud, avoid at all costs.

This doctor was more concerned about how my husband’s manhood would feel after a vasectomy and our choices as a couple. He was supposed to be my doctor concerned for my health and just worried about my husband.

If I could give zero stars I would have. I went to see Allen after going to the ER for extreme abdominal pain while 15 weeks pregnant with twins. Tell me how this man not only misdiagnosed me telling me that it was only a matter of time before I lose my babies, but the close manner with laughter in which he did so. The lack of compassion was absolutely astounding. I made sure never to be seen by him again. Surprise surprise, another amazing doctor at the same practice delivered perfectly healthy girls at almost 39 weeks after having to be induced. I emailed the office about how I was treated and never hear back from a soul. People within the office constantly talk about how he’s cold and they hear a lot of complaints. How he still has a license to practice is beyond me.

The worst bedside manner, no personality or genuine interest in patient's concerns. Super robotic, too much emphasis on political recommendation. The visit did not feel like it was about myself or the baby. Questions were asked and he brushed them off with no specifics or no real explanation.

Dr Allen was patient with to explain everything I needed to know about my surgery in October last everything came out successfully I’m doing very after my surgery and health looking my friends and family sees me as healthy woman by God grave I want thank Dr Allen for all that he did for me

This man has zero bedside manner. He barely speaks, doesn't answer questions, and has no personality at all. Completely unhelpful. He put me on medication for gestational diabetes without telling me the name of the med or explaining it at all then promptly left the room. Horrible experience.

Great experience with Dr. Norris. Very helpful and great bedside manner. Love the office and the staff.

Great doctor. Took the time to hear out my concerns instead of rushing me out to move on to the next patient.

This “doctor” is just plain weird. He barely talks, does not engage. He ruined my delivery experience at the Celebration hospital. It was my third baby and I felt as if I was an inconvenience to him. I will never go back to the office. Lots of anonymous reviews, makes you wonder who is doing damage control. Stay away. There are plenty other truly committed physicians in the area.

I had a great experience, or at least as good of an experience that one can have while getting a pap. Dr. Allen was kind and professional. I would definitely recommend!

I’m New to the area and was putting off the hassle of having to find a new doctor to get seen, since I didn’t really have any recommendations from friends to go by, and I hate having to step on the scale. Despite my nervousness to get seen, I was seen by Dr. Allen and not only did he alleviate all of my concerns (healthwise), he really made me feel comfortable and not as nervous. I get that weight is important, but being heavy isn’t why I needed to be seen, and too many times doctors make that the sole focus of the appointment. I will miss my doctor back up north, however after being seen by Dr. Allen, I won’t have to look any further for quality care.

I received nothing but the best possible care from Dr. Allen. He listened to all of my concerns and gave me different options that were all extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend him and will be using him for my third pregnancy.

He is kind attentive and offers you the upmost respect.. I highly recommend him and his professionalism.

They never answer the phone . I guarantee you if you call them 99.99% of the time it goes to voicemail. Always .

Extremely condescending. He just didn’t listen to my concerns. He called me obese over and over after I explained to the assistant I had an eating disorder as a teenager. I don’t want him to deliver my baby so I am switching practices. He is the worst.

Dr Allen is brilliant in his field he found my cancer and I have been in treatment for 11 months and I’m cancer free. Why his office closed down I will never understand I pray that he re opens . My name is Shelly Hancock and I am cancer free.
