Dr. Yasin was the 3rd doctor I seen after an ongoing battle from AU. I read the reviews and seen her ratings and thought she could help me. I was wrong. From when she first came into the room not introducing herself and not asking my name and how I'm doing I knew this was a mistake. I explained to her my major issue being vomiting after I eat I explained to her I don't eat after 7pm and go to bed around 11pm bc of my work schedule after a 10 min conversation she concluded that I needed to not eat after 6pm no matter my work schedule and to lose a few pounds i.e I'm fat/overweight. Little did she know I was pregnant hence the weight gain and vomiting a simple urine test would've concluded this. But after 3 doctors no one thought to run an urine test 3 months of doubt, depression and agony because 3 doctors over 24 yrs experience couldn't explain what was wrong with me! Augusta medical staff needs to do better.

I was devastated when Dr. Songco left. I sure didn't expect to find a doctor I was so happy with on our first meeting. Now I find out Dr. Yasin is gone!! Is Promedica running every good physician out of Monroe?!

I don't know what happened to Dr. Yasin, but she is no longer the doctor we first encountered in Nov. 2018. At that time she was working with Dr. Songco, who had been my husband's doctor for 30 years. Dr. Yasin saw my husband, was compassionate, referred him to specialist, and followed up with us personally via phone calls. My husband was subsequently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and has been undergoing treatment. In Jan. 2020 he was hospitalized and upon release was advised to see his primary care physician - who was now Dr. Yasin as Dr. Songco had retired. Our January visit was a nightmare. She was rude, inappropriate, and proselytizing. She told my husband that he had a demon inside him, that he was spitting in the face of God, etc. She belittled both of us (and I'm not her patient). I was appalled, but did not want to report her behavior because I didn't want to jepordize my husband's medical care. He is now under hospice and followed by their drs. Stay away from Yasin.

I finally found a great, reliable family doctor NOT affiliated with big, over-sized clinics, somebody that is fully, comprehensively trained and takes time with patients. Yes, occasionally she is running a little over 15 minutes late, but I always know that she will take time with me, just as she did for the patients she saw before me which may be why she is running late. She doesn't take time with one patient then shirk care of following appointments to compensate for extra time taken for that other person. She also made suggestions about an ongoing issue that I'm being tested for by Specialists at University of Michigan - she has also supplied simple supporting medications that previous family doc wouldn't - such as vitamins, minerals, basic things that specialists simply don't write out but sometimes request us to get from family doc. I used to get a resounding "NO" by previous family doc for even B-12 injections, vitamin d tablets, basics that needed more oversight from fam doc.

I was recommended by someone that said she was amazing. She came off cold at first. But, it got worse… A lot worse. She told me that I have multiple sclerosis (because of choices I have made in my life). She continue to preach verses from the Bible to me. I told her I wasn't religious, and she continued by calling me a devil worshiper. She thought I was pitiful because I have PTSD because Daddy thought I was a bad girl. I was physically and emotionally abused growing up, and I don’t take softly to that. I wanted to report her to the board. But then I thought who are they going to listen to the doctor or some stupid patient. I asked to use the bathroom, and just walked out. I was in there for an hour and a half for an appointment that should have been an hour at the most.

Dr. Yasin is an excellent doctor. She is caring and it shows in the way she listens to what you have to say and in the things she recommends that you try and do. I'm lucky to have found such a great doctor.

Dr Nura Yasin and the nurses I encountered were all very friendly and thorough. To put it quite frankly, it was the best doctor visit experience Ive ever had. I came in 15 mins early, had just finished up the paperwork and they were calling me back to a room where I spent a considerable time speaking with her. She is a great physician and I am very happy she is now my doctor. ??
