Nuri Jacoby is a HORRIBLE doctor!
Nuri Jacoby is a HORRIBLE doctor! I went to him for six months due to neck pain and daily headaches caused by a chiropractic injury (the chiro had been treating me for a digestive issue and hurt me during a spinal manipulation). I followed all of Dr. Jacoby's instructions: scans, medications, etc. Dr. Jacoby could not figure out how to help me and instead of simply being honest about it and empathetic, he told me that my physical problems could just be 'in my head' (i.e. psychosomatic) and I should consider psychological treatment — even though his own father (a rehab & physical medicine doctor) had diagnosed my injuries!!! To this day, I still can't believe he treated me like that.Fortunately, I later found a much better doctor who provided the proper medical (NOT psychological) treatment I needed to help me regain my health. I wasted a ton of time with Dr. Jacoby. If you're looking for a competent neurologist, DON'T go to Nuri Jacoby. It was an absolutely awful experience!

My first visit to Dr Jacoby was rather unusual. I have no complaints. He listened to me, responded, examined me, and made perfect sense when he responded again. Also, a couple of days later he called me, said he had though about my case, and has another avenue to investigate. In my lengthy experience, unless there is a specific reason, not many doctors think about your case after you leave their office. Also,Dr Jacoby was personable. likeable, very thorough, and has an excellent bedside manner.

Dr Jacoby is knowledgeable and friendly. He doesn't make me feel rushed and always asks if I have questions. I highly recommend seeing him. The only negative is that the office staff don't answer the phone and rarely return messages. It is extremely frustrating.
