Dr. Nutan Poseria, MD

I (36F) came in for a new patient visit (1 hr). She dismissed all of my concerns & rushed me out. The appointment lasted less than 25 min.She literally, not figuratively, laughed at me when I showed her a bump on my right cheekbone. I told her that the lesion had been growing for roughly 6 weeks & pointed out its bizarre textured surface.She looked at me like I was an idiot & said, 'That's a freckle.' I insisted she take another look. 'That's a zit.' I wasn't convinced & asked if she could refer me to a dermatologist. She refused, saying that it would go away on its own. I emailed her a photo a few weeks later because it had grown. Still no referral. Finally, I went to urgent care, they referred me to dermatology, & within a week I was having surgery (it was a squamous cell carcinoma). I can't fathom why she wouldn't refer me to a specialist at the very least. Her delaying my diagnosis made less-invasive treatments impossible. Now I have a large & obvious facial scar.

Dr. Poseria has the tendency to dismiss patient concerns and undermine patients’ stories with condescending remarks. The patient-doctor relationship should be respected but she creates an unhealthy power dynamic that makes patients feel worthless. After my visit with her, I truly felt disempowered to take any actions for my health. Really shocked at the caliber of her care, considering low moral quality when handling patient concerns rooted in prior diagnosis.

She is a clear example of someone who should not be working in the medical field. Extremely quick to undermine patient concerns. Huge issues with ego, by feeling the need to bring up her supposed “40 years” of experience, when presented with patient concerns as a way to show superiority?Clearly with all the other reviews with similar sentiment, this is not a one off. Hopefully there is an investigation into her work ethic and even her medical qualifications. It’s unfortunate that it’s because of people like her that being down the reputations of folks in the medical field

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, treats the patients very poorly and disrespects her patients. She does not know how to be nice. She does not have a friendly attitude towards her patients. She is definitely not fit to be in the hospital according to her behavior towards the patients.

I can't recommend this doctor unless you want a doctor that enters the room and pretends that you are a piece of furniture. Says rude things without realizing how rude she is. Does not understand that modern doctors are warm and caring and show an interest in the patients. Went to her once when my doctor was backlogged and that was enough for a lifetime. I preferred to wait months for my regular doctor than get a visit with her again.

Disgusting rude and horrible lady! Refused me treatment. Hung up in my face because I expressed different beliefs than her. No regard to her patients at all. Definitely needs to be fired and or investigated.

No. She doesn't care about the patients. She ignores the need of the patients.

Worst Dr. ever, shows no compassion or cares at all about her patients well being, I don’t even know how she’s managed to get this far in her profession, nothing professional about her, was extremely rude and angry before we could even start our phone call visit

Not up to my expectation! I went to her for my annual physical check up. The Dr. didn't check properly. She came to the appointment very late and kept me waiting inside the room for more than 45 mins. When she came in, she attended a personal phone call for a long time. Didn't show any interest for the waiting patient.

The Dr. is not willing to refer you to the specialist. Her knowledge is apparently outdated and will make remarks to stop patients from seeing specialist. I do not feel comfortable to see her again.
