She is the most moody Dr. I have ever encountered. Sometimes she is fine and other times she hates everybody. Terrible bedside manners. Ive never experienced anything like her in the medical profession before. She not only insists that you be on time but that you be at least 15 minutes early. Over time I learned to write my appt times for 30 minutes earlier than what they actually were just to keep her for melting down. I hope she likes North Carolina and the people there better than she liked Ohio.

She is very moody! If she likes you at the moment, you’re OK. Otherwise, you’re out of luck! Every visit she typed stuff on my “office visit summary” that are not true. She likes typing on the computer better than looking at you, listening to you, talking to you and assessing your condition. Maybe she missed her calling to being a writer. After reading other reviews about promptness and her high expectations of her patients, I wonder if she should have been dismissed for not being available for two full months in the winter when several of us really needed a (our) Rheumatologist. I hope that she likes NC better than she likes Lima. People who need to be seeing a Rheumatologist do not need or want more stress in their lives. I feel badly for her. Life could be a whole lot more enjoyable if she would set that example in her surroundings.

Today I was scheduled for my first time appt with Dr. Ramsay after waiting 3 months to get this appt. I was warned about her rules of being timely particularly for the first time appt and that she would not see me if I were late. 6 weeks ago I received a call from her office stating she was relocating to NC and I had the option to schedule with another doctor. I indicated that I would keep my appt with her. Yesterday I received another call from her office confirming my appt for today and they also reminded me that she was not going to be there after the end of June. I indicated I still wanted to keep the appt. Her office stated they would mark my file accordingly. At 6:10 last evening I received a confirming text about the appt and I confirmed "yes." When I arrived this morning at 7:40 for my 8:00 appt, the reception told me Dr Ramsay told her minutes before she was not taking new appts!!! I had to leave! How shameful is that? Very unprofessional/rude. I do NOT recommend her!

I have been to Dr Ramsay 2 times. The first time, I commented that my previous Dr was kind of "out there". She immediately came to his defense and was short with me. However, she was very thorough and answered all my questions. When I left, i felt like I actually learned something about my disease. The second appt went very smooth and I really like her. I do get to my appt 15 minutes early. Only giving 4 stars because I am fairly new to the office.

My referral-based appt was handled very unprofessionally. I received a voicemail from my primary care office stating I have an appt at 9 am with Dr Ramsey in the Memorial medical complex. I received a voicemail confirming the appt from Ramsey's office. At no point did I receive an address. I called to find I was at the wrong location. I arrived within 10 mins ( I was told it was OK) and refused service. Empty waiting room, empty parking lot. I missed work. Dr not professional. Poor service.
