Dr. Olabisi Asimolowo, MD

I found Dr. A to be very direct, which I appreciate. She got down to business and to the exact nature of how she could attempt to help relieve my back pain. Everything she told me was on the money. *** I admire her even more because, while I was checking out my wife and I overheard her giving direct orders regarding another unnamed patient. She told the admin (I paraphrase)"get that patient in immediately and if insurance will not pay for it, we will" because for some reason apparently bookkeeping got the wrong information and she continued "that was on us and the patient should not be in pain for our mistake"

I found Dr Asimowolo to be very knowledgeable and very thorough. She took the time to go over my MRI discs with me and she did a very thorough physical exam. I have had Cervical and lumbar Epidural injections and they provide relief of my symptoms. I am very happy with Dr. Asimowolo and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I highly recommend Dr. Asimowolo for relief of neck and back pain.

Dr Olabisi Asimolowo is amazing! I first went to her in August 2021 to find relief for a stabbing pain in my butt which radiated down my leg. It was not a constant pain, but when it flared up the pain was a level 10. She scheduled me for an epidural steroid injection which completely stopped my pain! I had another pain incident in July 2022 which was a sharp pain at the outside of my knee which also went down my leg. She again did an epidural steroid injection which alleviated this pain too. I found her explanations of the process and what to expect to be clear and concise. I have nothing but high praise for her and this procedure.

Had several excellent visits with Dr Asimolowo to discuss my atypical facial pain. She was willing to listen and try a SupraOrbital Nerve Block on both sides of my forehead. This procedure ended up relieving almost 90% of my forehead pain that I have been suffering with for the past five years. I found her very friendly and personable and do not understand the other negative reviews.

She is an arrogant person who think she is above you. In my case she screwed up with Medicare and they told her she has to foot the Bill not them or me. Why does Summit Medical keep her. This is her third place in 10 years. Not very stable. Never go near the likes of her again.

I would not recommend this doctor. I went to see her for excruciating sciatica pain. I asked her if there was anything that I can take or do to relieve some of the pain, she said nothing. She ordered an MRI which confirmed the pinched nerve and then scheduled an epidural (which took almost 3 weeks to get the epidural, all the while in pain). When going for an epidural, being a diabetic, my sugar was a little high because of the stress of this, she canceled the appointment and wouldn't even give me any advice on how to proceed to relieve my pain. She stated "it's not my realm of practice," I asked if I could wait a little while because the sugar was coming down. She said that she had other patients and that as soon as she was done with them she was leaving. She had no empathy and didn't care that I was suffering. I should have known from the way the assistant rushed me in the back to the room and said to me hurry because the doctor will be mad. I would have given zero stars!

If I could leave no stars I would. I saw this dr for pain management. She switched my medication and ordered an MRI. Insurance denied the MRI wanting more information which her office did not supply. When the medication ran out her I called the office 3 different times and was told they would call back which they did not do. The withdrawal symptoms started immediately. From staff to dr I would not recommend them to anyone suffering from chronic pain.
