Went for help and only received lies and neglect!
Dr. Oladapo at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana is in my honest opinion an awful human being. I voluntarily sought treatment at Reid during a mental health crisis. I met with Oladapo the next day for an assessment. After a very very brief conversation he assured me that he was going to recommend that I be released to my family who had been very supportive. He repeated several times that I would be released before abruptly leaving. He allowed me to make plans to be picked up by family and assuaged any concerns I had of being sent to a psychiatric facility. My family and I waited all day for me to be released into their care. That evening a social worker showed up to let me know I was being sent to psychiatric facility 3 hours away for a psychiatric hold lasting 3 days. Since the last day of the 3 days was a Friday I was going to have to stay 2 extra days over the weekend. I was shackled, lead through the lobby of Reid, and placed in the back of a patty wagon. He's a liar!

A Doctor who truly cares, listens, and supports. made the according changes to medications, and helped me make a recovery plan that I could manage on my own. I am so very grateful for him.
