Not helpful
She misdiagnosed me and was extremely flippant and dismissive about my suffering. I reached out to her several times when her treatments were not working. She responded saying that was all that could be done. After a year of consistent symptoms, my primary care doctor looked at the area and heard my symptoms and said she did not believe I had the condition that Okoji diagnosed me with and gave me a new referral.Dr. Okoji is highly arrogant. She does not like to be asked questions. If you expect to participate in the process of solving your health concern, I would not recommend her.She was incredibly rude when I called in ahead of my procedure with a question that the nurse could not answer, to the point that I tried to cancel the procedure. She apologized and assured me it was not my fault and she would be better on the day of the procedure. She was okay that day. But as I said she was of no help. I am still dealing with the issue.

Dr. Okoji is hands down the best Dr.! Finally, a doctor who really listened to me believed my symptoms. She has worked with me in every aspect to get me back on track. I have lost 11 pounds, I feel so much better mentally and physically. I am so glad that I took the time to leave the 2 other gastroenterologists and go with a doctor who was relatable, very knowledgeable, down to earth, and still highly professional. Dr. Okoji knows her profession. She recommended OTC and organic-based remedies that worked. I trust her.

My first visit with Dr. Okoji was a very thorough history and discussion about my past and current problems. She was a good listener and asked good questions about my concerns. I was due for a colonoscopy so she will know more about treatment options after that is completed. She explained her process for prep for the procedure and what would happen before, during and afterwards.

I have found Dr. Okoji and her staff to be extremely responsive professional. Dr. Okoji put me at ease, and answered all of my questions before laying out a diagnostic plan. I have already highly recommended her to a friend in need of a gastroenterologist who can respond quickly.

I have a profound experience with Dr. Okoji and was satisfied with her dedication, patience and her listening skill to my medical concerns. Dr. Okoji answered all my questions and gave me appointment. It wasn’t until I underwent the procedure itself, that I came to realize the full import of her dedication resulting in high definition outcomes. The timelines, details and accuracy of the procedure report were remarkable. I would recommend Dr. Okoji to anyone for gastroenterological needs.
