Lack of followup.
It took 6 months from referral to appointment. Friendly staff, but I felt like I could've done this visit with a Zoom meeting. Doubled meds it seemed to stall for time. They scheduled a colonoscopy 7 months later. Hospital rep called in January to verify my insurance but could not tell me what procedure and who the doctor was. Checked online patient portal and there was nothing on que except GP. The end of the week, automated call said my procedure was the following Monday. Press 1 for ok 2 for no. So after pressing 2 to cancel someone from stonybrook called Monday and seemed annoyed that I wasnt there. Bottom line, no nurse or staff called prior to advise what time the appointment was, where it was, what I needed to do prior to this procedure. Did not followup at all. Assembly line service is great, totally impersonal. Im sorry, but I would appreciate being treated like a person. Still waiting for a call to reschedule. Maybe in a year! LOL

Visit
This doctor’s office staff is very UNHELPFUL. Waited 2 hours and no one could help to tell when we could see the doctor. It’s way past the appointment time. It’s understandable that sometimes one has to wait but this went beyond the normal limits . And the staff were not off any help. It’s sad that as a patient you have no where to complain but they this . The doctor is good but her staff leaves a very bad taste!

Restored my faith in doctors
Dr Aroniadis is the most knowledgeable MD I’ve ever seen. But what makes her outstanding is her patience and compassion. I trust her implicitly and have referred many friends and family to her.

I had a very nice visit yesterday. Everybody (the nurse who called me to arrange the screening colonoscopy and did the follow up today to see how I was feeling, the nurses who took care of me on the floor, the anesthesiologist, and certainly Dr. Aroniadis) were courteous, engaging, warm, making me feel comfortable and well attended. Excellent service. Thank you.

I am so thankful to be seeing Dr. Aroniadis. My illness is a little difficult to diagnose and I have only seen her twice so far once to do my endoscopy and once in the office but I already have so many results. I can tell she really does care, loves what she does and wants to find what is wrong with me. She offers alot of knowledge and explanations and took her time seeing me. She was thorough, helpful and really listened to me. She is a really great doctor all around. The waiting before I saw her was a little long (about an hour from appointment time untill I saw her) but well worth it!! I'm very pleased.
