she is consistently talking down to every patient, family member and staff at the hospital. It is her way or the highway, worst bedside manner. she does not do a full assessment on her patients, she will only look over labs and vitals and makes a decision without assessing the newborn, will order a lumbar puncture (LP) with no clinical findings to indicate the need for a LP. For example, a new born only had an axillary temperature of 100.2f, this patient was over swaddled and she did not assess the patient and did not uncover patient and allow patient to normalize their temperature. Newborns have difficult times thermoregulating, a neonatologist should be aware of this. All she is trying to do is pad the hospitals wallet by ordering unnecessary and dangerous test. there is a long list of complications that could develop when doing a LP and should not be done unless there is enough clinical evidence to support it.
