Horrible doctor!!
I got progressively worse under the care of this doctor’s office and had to get 4 surgeries. She dropped the ball on my health journey. Wait times are horrible. She is cold hearted and dismissive.

Awful practice! Will never return.
I was a patient in this office for over 18 months. I only saw Dr. Kromo on the first (2) visits. All appointments thereafter were automatically scheduled by the office with a nurse practitioner. You don’t have a choice in the matter if you want continuous care with this practice. That’s the way they operate! Too many office rules and all to benefit the practice; not the patient. If you arrive 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time your appointment will be cancelled, however wait time to be seen was most times 45 minutes or more. The parking situation is the worst I’ve experienced. So much so that the staff tells you to arrive 45 minutes prior to your appointment so that you can find parking. It is ridiculous! Also, the staff is unfriendly and it is extremely difficult to get through to the office for any reason. Don’t bother trying to address any concerns with the office manager, Mia. She does not care!

However, when giren appintment for Promia injection, office staff did no avise me there will be copayment, upon arriving for it, was told I had to pay $220.00, which I did. NOW I got an extra billi g statement for $34.52. Spoke to Office mar. And reply was she was sorry for office negligence sad, sad and does not satisfy me, therefore will not return. At one point she was great, I think now she has so many patients she cant keep up. Last appointment she was reading old labs vs. the new ones and sent additional medication, thankfully it was just a vitamin. Staff, managers included are beyond rude and unprofessional.

Absolutely not! A week after my first visit to Dr Kromo, I called to ask for the results of my bloodwork. I was told Dr Kromo was on vacation but not to worry, if there had been any abnormalities they would have called me. No one called me. Six weeks later while seeing Dr Kromo's physician assistant, I saw that my blood was very abnormal. When I expressed concern, Dr. Kromo was brought in. Her response was, it was "no big deal" and "not like you are going to die from this." Repeat labs were dramatically worse. Kromo recommended a hematologist. That doctor's "feeling" was that the cause was "probably my meds". I had an independent doctor review the results. He called me right away and told me to get to an Emergency Room immediately, "Leukemia is on the table." I was admitted within minutes and given a blood transfusion. My diagnosis is Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I can't blame Dr. Kromo for my condition, however her delay was unforgivable. She has not even inquired once about how I am.

When I was able to book my first appointment with Dr. Kromo, I felt as if I had won the lottery. I knew that she was a popular doctor in her field and that her patients highly recommended her. Her name came at the top of the list when my general practitioner referred me to a rheumatologist. I was delighted with my first visit. She was patient and helpful and explained everything fully. What I am not as happy about is that I have not seen her again since that first visit. I was supposed to have a shared visit with her after that, but only her assistant showed up. I was promised that I would see her on my next visit on July 1. I hope so because it has been over 2 months and I have questions that I only feel comfortable asking someone with her considerable experience. Additionally, it is difficult to reach the staff. The staff is quite large but the phone service is automated and frequently drops the call.

Not quite sure how to feel about Dr. Kromo and her practice. Dr. Kromo herself is fantastic — very empathetic and caring. However, her medical assistants (nurses, physician assistants, etc.) are pretty rude. I had a follow-up appointment to review lab results and go over next steps with Dr. Kromo right around when Covid restrictions first started; however, when I was called in to my appointment, I didn’t get to see Dr. Kromo. Instead, I saw her twin sister who’s a physician assistant at the same practice. I was never once informed by anyone that my appointment would be with the PA. Normally, I don’t have a problem seeing NPs or PA’s, but this PA was clearly unfamiliar with my case and went over my lab results with a huge rush. My lab results were inconclusive, and when I inquired about what other conditions could be causing my symptoms, she didn’t answer the question and dismissed me. I received no follow-up, no referrals, no treatment, etc.
