My recent, personal visit at Henry Ford was with Dr. Omar Shamma, MD & Dr. Eric Scher, MD.. Both equally talented and trusted based on my own personal interaction. This review specific to Dr. Omar Shamma, After verbally explaining several personal health concerns, Dr. Shamaa patiently absorbed every concern I had, and addressed them individually in it's most simplist form. Dr. Shamaa invited me to his computer, to illustrate and assist me, with general images, in describing my condition. He categorically asked me for information, surrounding every issue I raised...and made thoughtful recommendations that I felt really comfortable with. I haven't had a thorough physical in years...25 to 30 to be exact. I was reluctant, and apprehensive...not sure what condition my health would be in, after so many years. Dr. Shamaa extinguished any unsubstantiated fear, and neglect I caused to myself...and has me back up to speed with tests, screening's and vaccines. Excellent!!! Dr. overall.
