Trust me if you care about your time, well being, and health. AVOID Alzohaili and his office at all costs. Contacting the office staff in itself is a hurdle, they will put you on hold for at least 20 minutes and when you finally reach someone, they will keep transferring you to a different department and never address your reasons for calling. Some departments just take you to voicemail and never return your call. The office staff will tell you they can't do anything unless you have an appointment. However, I have had multiple appointments with Alzohaili where he was a no show and I've waited over 1 hour. No email or call or anything. I have also been waiting half a year to receive medication that he has prescribed. It feels like a tactic to prolong the process and further inconvenience the patient. He clearly does NOT care about his patient's well-being, health, or time.

I have had pituitary issues for over 20 years. Within TWO visits with Dr Alzohaili, he performed more comprehensive tests than I have had in over 20 YEARS seeing other doctors who specialize in endocrinology. I do not have diabetes, which is all most endocrinologists know or want to know. Dr Alzohaili’s comprehensive testing brought about a diagnosis I would never have received without his expertise. Finally! So grateful for his commitment to the entire endocrine system and finding solutions.

Fabulous!!!! 5 stars !!
Dr Alzohaili was the first endocrinologist to teach me about T3 and T4 . I’ve seen three before him. He did an ultrasound of my thyroid in his office. I appreciate that , didn’t have to schedule one. He switched me from Synthroid to Np thyroid and I feel much better. Other doctors just keep increasing your thyroid medication. I’m am RN and appreciate his knowledge about my thyroid health. You won’t be sorry. Consuelo Ordo RN

This guy almost killed me with the high doses of long-term steroids and HGH. He didn't look at how they interacted with the other medications I was on. He rebuffed my concerns. I switched endocrinologists and was told my dose of steroids was double what I should ever take for my weight. His primary focus is HGH. Beware.

The testing done for need for HGH was dangerous! His staff injected me with so muinsulin and my glucose level dropped to 19 in less than 1 hour. We questioned the validity of their test given the person performing the test complained of a person the day before who took 6 hours with the same test. In reviewing my chart staff did not record the true results. Also, he prescribed me twice the recommended dose for my condition and my heart became enlarged. He would not return my calls as I was told what I was being prescribed was enlarging my heart and giving me elevated heart rate and blood pressure. Medication he prescribed interacted with all medications I was on and he made my health very unstable. Thank God for the internet and I was able to start weaning myself off the medications and then found an endocrinologist who informed me of the gross negligence he practices. This doctor helped me continue the weaning process and we highly doubt his initial diagnosis was accurate.

Best Dr in this field period!!! When you talk to him you will know. This man knows his stuff! The testing he puts you through backs it up!! I can't say enough good things about him and his staff! *The only problem I have is the office staff sometimes they are overwhelmed, too many phone calls-wait on hold for a half-hour, also didn't have correct billing address or other info for over a year then got astronomical co-pay! But the person in charge of getting you covered for medication deserves 6!

NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. I am convinced his practice in this field is so detrimental to his patients. He ruined my brothers life. Where do I even start...my brother went to see him suffering from mental issues. I, to this day, wonder why in the world he prescribed him Testosterone?!?!?!? I truly believe that hormones was not an issue and now, my brother is addicted to those steroids and has the craziest steroid rage. There are plenty more well trained doctors that know what they are doing.

If I could give no stars, I would. I haven't even gotten in to see the Doctor yet because I've been trying for the last three days to make an appointment. Every time I call, I just get put on hold for nearly 20 minutes before I'm tired of waiting in silence. I've left messages asking to be called back just to schedule an appointment. Today when I called, someone picked up and hung up on me. The office staff is always the first impression.......and its a bad one!!!

Terrible Doctor, has a horrible bedside manner, rushes through everything and doesn't take the time to address your concerns. Just very rude in general. The office is small and the staff are horrible, rude as well. Always dirty. He does not take the time to explain anything either, does not listen or answer questions.

Staff is very rude. They wouldn't give my mother her refills on her diabetic meds because she needed an appt. Called several times to make appt but no one answers and we get a voicemail or phone goes busy. When they do answer im left on hold for 15-20 mins. That's ridiculous!!!

Dr Alzohaili is an Amazing doctor. I was sent to him with a nodule in my neck. Less than 5 % of these turn out to be anything but long story short, dr Alzohaili was VERY thorough and found that I had thyroid cancer and that it had spread into my lymphnodes. The tumor was very large but was sitting so that when u felt my neck u couldn't feel anything. My thyroid was full of cancer yet tested out as normal. If he wasn't as thourough I wouldn't be writing this at 6 years cancer free. Brenda.

10 years ago I got very ill after delivering my twin sons at 22 weeks due to ruptured membranes and severe blood loss resulting from the lack of a prescribed cerclage placement. I was ignored by every specialist (even a Beaumont Endo, Dr Blank), and I had spent the last 3 years bedridden. My husband researched and found Dr Alzohaili, and he diagnosed me with hypopituitaryism and had me on medication for it within 2 weeks. Thank you, Doctor. You saved my life, and my boy has his Mum again.

This office is more concerned about billing than the actual patients needs. I am a patient with a thyroid disease that needs to be tested frequently. When blood work is done, they refuse to share the results over the phone even if your numbers are off and your next visit isn't for weeks. Policy is: Go in and have the Dr. see you for 2 min and give you a script for blood work. Then 2-3 days later revisit the Dr for 2 min to obtain results. Vitals are taken both times to justify billing.

The Dr. is fantastic but you very rarely get to see him. A lot of the others just don't have near the bedside manner. But the real problem here is the support staff. It's so tough to get in touch with a person, get refills, and get call backs. I have never waited less than an hour and a half for an appointment and many times waited over 2 hours! Plus, they get so many things wrong. I finally had to switch out of frustration. And I should note, I am a very patient person.
