The nurses are great preparing me for the Dr. He comes in, takes care of business, answers any questions, and leaves! A no nonsense Dr.

I have been using Frantz for my eye care for many years. They scheduled me with a retina specialist who was doing an ultrasound of my eye twice a year. I saw her until I was told she left the practice and I was scheduled with Dr. Plous. Dr. Plous was not personable, didn’t explain my condition, just told me I was fine, to come back in 10 months to a year. After my second appointment, Dr. Plous had not done an ultrasound for well over a year, so I asked about it. He scheduled me at a different location to have the ultrasound. At that appointment, after all the tests, Dr. Plous came in, he asked the tech where the ultrasound was. I said, “I came here for the ultrasound.” He screamed very rudely, something like, “Just give us a minute.” I said, “You don’t have to get nasty.” He said, “This exam is over, schedule her with Dr. Warrior” and he walked out of the room. I was dumbfounded. Apparently, this is a normal thing with this doctor. The tech did the ultrasound and connected me with her manager, who called the manager of the medical staff. They did bring Dr. Plous in to apologize, but it didn’t sound sincere. His excuse was that he has to see 70 patients a day, like that should make his behavior excusable. I suggested that he was apologizing because the “boss” was there. He told me that his position isn’t in jeopardy. That may be part of the problem. Frantz knows how he acts and allows it to happen. I will NEVER see him again and am working to find another eye care option. I sent a letter to the owner, Jonathan Frantz over two weeks ago, and I haven’t heard a word from him or his office. Apparently, they don’t care about their patient’s experience, they only care about raking in the money. I would never recommend Frantz to anyone!!

Dr Plous knowledge of my condition and his treatment approach and explanation inspired confidence. He is direct and answered questions thoroughly while showing care and concern. His nursing assistant was very competent and explained each step of the procedure thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Plous.

The nurses were also very nice. Everybody was very friendly.

From the moment Dr. Plous stepped in to greet me I knew I would like him. He is a straight shooter and I love that. He is thorough and gives an honest answer to any questions you might have. Also his assistant Shelby always has a smile for you and a warm greeting. I love them both.

All went well. Got me in 15 minutes early, was out in 45 minutes.

Dr. Plous is technically skilled, but his patient handling ranges from brusque to rude. In several visits he was not just late but very late, for appointments at the beginning of the service period.

You cannot go to a better Doctor than Dr Plous. Performed Retina surgery on my left eye and I now have 20/20 vision. Highly recommend Frantz Eyecare for your eye problems. Very thorough and Professional. Excellent staff, Positive attitudes

Dr Plous is always thorough knowledgeable and very concerning …I always enjoy my visits and trust him with my eyes as I have macular degeneration and he has taken care of me for years…

Very good at remembering my statistics and history, compared to most doctors. Pleasant although some may consider him brusque, I appreciate his honesty and direct to the point ways.

Dr Plous gave an injection in my left eye, we waited a little longer to allow the numbing gel more time to work, it was a much better expierience that way

So pleased to see Dr Plous!
