FIRE the woman running the office
The Dr. himself is great. He listens he has great bedside manner but the office aspect of seeing him is HORRIBLE. This woman he has as an Admin enjoys the control she has over patients and their records or ability to see the Dr. how and why has she remained employed by this office this long i beyond me, she is so mistreating so rude and condescending, disrespectful and more. What is going on here that they can’t remove her and put a competent being in her place who doesn’t hate the job.

Terrible experience! Doesn't deserve any stars!
We met with Dr Tijerina for my 89 yr old mother who has several fractures in her vertebra. The procedure ' Vertebraplasty' in which cement is injected into the fractures. The initial meeting went okay, however they were a bit disorganized. I felt like I was buying a car type of feeling. We scheduled the procedure for April 18th at a Hospital about 17 miles away. I live out of state so I booked airfare to the McAllen area so I could be there. Today, April 12th they called and moved the procedure location to Brownsville , 60 miles away! I told them I had already booked my flight and they said if we wanted the procedure it would have to be in Brownsville or wait a week and they could possibly have this down at the origional facility! We said no and canceled....I should have listen to my instincts. This 'Dr' is about as far from professional as a Doctor can get.
