Dr. Otar Datiashvili, MD

Visited CityMD with questions about Covid after testing positive at home. Dr. Datiashvili was dismissive, never told me my rapid test results, and noted as soon as my symptoms got better, I was not infectious. Gave no metrics or general timelines. I mentioned that this felt subjective, as my main symptom is headache. I was particularly concerned as I'm visiting an ill family member with cancer and taking him to surgery next week. He repeated himself, saying as soon as I was asymptomatic, I was not contagious. Upon questioning further, as I have loss of taste and smell, he noted these symptoms as exceptions including lingering cough, but if I had not asked specifically and took him at his word, I would assume I was contagious until I had full taste and smell back. I've also lost hair recently; he said this was not related to covid. Recent studies have shown a correlation. This visit was a complete waste of my time. He doesn't seem like he cares about patients at all. I do not trust him.
