Shame on a doctor who comes to JW as a oncology consult to see my sister 1 time and then advised he wouldnt be back as he was non par with her insurance!?! She has invasive melanoma with metastasis to her brain, lungs, liver, bone, abdomen and he refused to see her after his first visit inpatient. So instead the hospitalist who was AMAZING helped as best she could....had to have her discharged after a 10 day stay at JW to take her to a bon secour facility so an oncologist who takes her insurance would actually treat her with dignity and like a human at clearly the end of her life. Its a sad day when a doctor is FOR PROFIT and chooses to NOT participate with insurance when working in a specialty such as oncology. Id give negative stars if i could.

Dr. Gonzalez is wonderful. He listens to my concerns and is always prompt when he has had to return calls. I have never had to wait longer than five or ten minutes in the waiting room. He is knowledgeable in his area of expertise. I cannot imagine going to another physician.

Dr. Gonzalez was extremely personable and instructive as he performed the bone marrow biopsy. Constantly checking on patient comfort. I felt totally at ease and never doubted that I was in good hands. The office staff and his assistant were all top-notch. I was taken into the surgical area at the exact time of my appointment and prepped in a way that erased any nervousness. I highly recommend this excellent physician.

This md have no concept of caring for Breast Cancer Patient's. Have to call him to read reports and almost threaten him with medication to be taken and side effects. H just give medications without reading the test results. If he does not know what the test results are how can he treat. He does not seem to care about his patients. He seems he wants his patients to die so he can move onto the next one. If you did a survey you would fine that many patients have died under his care.
