Dr. Palaniappan Arumugham, MD

This doctor does not discuss anything with you and does not get himself involved in your health conditions. He does not talk to you about your test results which can reveal diseases that you might have, or you are close to get it. In my case it is chronic kidney disease. Once I asked him for referral for another doctor and he told me you think we live that long meaning you think you live that long.

Have been visting him for over 25 years. Good doctor but never had decent staff. The staff is clueless and rude. But lately I am having to visit him every 3 months and he has been giving prescriptions based on my bloodwork from 3 months ago and not the latest and he does not discuss the results. Additionally the interaction is minimal during the visit. The 5-10 minutes he spends with me is mostly him looking at the screen. When I enquired he said he updates notes online and does not have time to discuss with me. I am on HSA and pay him in full every visit - so not a payment issue. I checked online and his updates are very limited and there is not much to it. There is no followup from front office or anything. Not sure if others are the same but I have heard from my relatives who are doctors that the presrcription should be based on the latest bloodwork and there has to be some face to face communication on the results and opportuinity to ask questions.Not the same doctor he once was.

Dr Aru has been our family physician for 30 years. There isn’t a better family practice in Dallas. He is experienced, talented, and caring. He always has the time and patience to listen and does not shy away from elevating a health issue to a specialist.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Family Clinic. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I was not there for too long, but the doctor was not in a rush and he answered all of my questions I would definitely come back.

I would highly recommend Dr. Arumugham's office. They have a friendly staff, and the doctor takes the time to understand your problems and fix the issues appropriately. I have always had a good experience at this office.

- The staff was unenthusiastic and I never felt that doctor was listening to me. - The prescription was incorrectly written on two separate occasions, causing issues with the pharmacy.
