Excellent GI specialist
I been to many GI doctors over the years but when I found Dr Manickam, I realized he is top of the line! He listens, he’s compassionate, he looks at your history, he’s quick to take action in emergency situations and always responds to your calls to office. I highly recommend him to everyone!

I’ve been seeing Dr Manickam for 6 years now. He has excellent bedside manners and has provided me great care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor that will listen and understand your needs, whose looking for a doctor that goes over and beyond to find proper diagnosis for you! 5 stars

Terrible! He took one look at my colonoscopy film and instantly "you have colon cancer" He prescribed a life-long regimen of some very expensive drug. $500 per month. Taken up the rectally daily. I got sick as a dog. I called him. He said "why don't get get a second opinion" which, coincidentally was from one of his colleagues down the hall. I described my symptoms to her and she said "I think you should see a psychiatrist". As it turned out, I had basically eaten my gut out with heavy doses Ibuprofen for pain with a kidney stone. I got better on my own. Stay clear of this guy, and his associate (sorry, I don't remember her name).

I was hugely impressed after my first visit with Dr. Manickam. He spoke to a few of my other physicians before I arrived! He had a very good sense of what the problem was without me having to go into detail of past diagnostic tests and surgeries, as he was already on his game and aware of those! He did his homework! He had a plan in place and copies of everything I needed for going forward. His staff worked closely with him and were highly organized as well. I’ve been searching for answers with other doctors who were baffled for over 15 years! I was very impressed with the new information this doctor was able to provide in the first visit! He was straight forward and let me know all the facts, holding nothing back, but being very positive in my outcome ahead. He gave me hope for a healthy future that no one else has been able to accomplish.

I love this doctor. Great bed side manner and very caring. He removed a stone from my bile duct and had to go in a second time because there were other issues and put an stent in before they could remove my gallbladder. When I went back to have the stent removed he found issues with my stomach and a pocket I was born with in my small intestine. He put me a on a low food map diet. He them put me on Xifaxan which cleared up issues with my intestines. In short he work diligently to make me feel better and healthy again. I wish I lived closer so he could be my regular Gastro Doctor.
