Don’t walk, Run to another Dermatologist
It took them 8 weeks to diagnose Basil cell carcinoma and get me in for Mohr’s surgery on my face. I ended up with a hole on my right cheek the size of a dime. Then she let a PA stitch it up. Terrible job on closing the wound, Terrible instructions for post surgical care. They were going to have the medical assistant take the stitches out instead of the PA who I had made an appointment to see. The medical assistant is the person who walks you to your room and takes your blood pressure. Yes, they find the least qualified person to do the critical work on your face.

I have been going to Dr. Broska for many years. My last visit was extremely disappointing. Her PA did my overall exam after Dr. Broska appeared for a minute and left me with her. She then came back, did a quick overall and left again. The PA had marked two spots on my face, which the doctor saw. The PA then cut both spots for analysis. The one on my nose she had to cauterize She left and I had to find her to ask what to do about the cut areas. She said oh put vaseline on them. I went to see Dr. Broska not a PA.

I made an appointment with Dr. Broska for an annual exam. I was given a superficial exam, about 5 minutes, by a PA who did not address some of my skin issues. She did not identify herself as a PA. Never saw the doctor. I am complaining to my insurance provider and the doctor.

I was impressed on my very first visit with Dr. Broska. A very thorough exam was done with appropriate explanations of what needed to be done. A referral for those procedures was handled proficiently. Most of all I appreciated the office staff when getting me the personal notes of my visit. These were extensive and sent in a timely manner. When the procedures were done on my second visit, the PAC, Diana Garza, was extremely pleasant and carefully explained what she would be doing.

Dr Broska is a fine Doctor, it's her incompetent front office staff that will keep you away... I called 4 times to have results from a biopsy given and each time I was told someone would call me back... After 2 weeks of trying, I finally called my PCP to intervene, and call over there. I have yet to here the results of my biopsy...Terrible service with no apologies.. If your Dr refers you to this office, ask for someone else. You won't regret it.

Lovely office and very friendly staff. Dr. Broska was calm, professional, and extremely thorough. I had a skin check and she removed (froze) a couple of problem spots and was most helpful with suggestions for regular skin maintenance. I have already recommended her to a friend.
