Horrible horrible experience. She almost made me ry when I was in pain after a surgery. Wasnt ready to believe what I told her about the health issues I had. Condescending, rude, pathetic manners, arrogant, painful wait. I wish I could give her minus stars. She is horrible and shouldnt be allowed to practice medicine .

Like Old School
My experience with Dr. Martin has been the best in my life I am 68 years young. She is the most patient and understanding yet firm with her explanations. Her staff is great also. The wait has never been more than 15 minutes. she even suggest recipes that are delicious.

Rude and Disrespectful
Dr. Martin spoke down to my daughter in a way to exhibit that she is the smartest person in the room by restating all of her degrees on both of our visits. She accused my daughter of being disrespectful because she disagreed with the doctor. I’am raising a daughter to Advocate for herself. She knows her body better than anyone. My daughter just wanted to be heard and Dr. Martin kept interrupting her and talking over her even after she kept trying to say let me finish, multiple times. I tried to explain to Dr. Martin what she was trying to say, but Dr. Martin wouldn’t hear me either. I tried to point out that Dr. Martin was not having patience and she said she’s had plenty of patience. I kept a calm tone & voice because I know if I had raised my voice and tried to step in and correct Dr. Martin, she was probably just going to throw us out of her office and I did not want that. Her tone & demeanor was unacceptable. I wish I had read these reviews prior.

Awful & Demeaning Attitude
At check in you're required to do a covid test, a flu test, and a step test, just to maybe certain you're not infected. I'm cash pay and each test was $50. Then waited two hours for 1 minute 20 seconds with the doctor. Charged an additional $150 for that. Dr. Martin was NOT nice, not kind and spoke to me like I was a 12 year old (I'm 45 with a PhD), then actually laughed at me because I'm cash pay. She's belittling, doesn't seem to give a rip, and is just plain rude. I read reviews for the clinic itself, which were great. I should have dug deeper and read reviews on Dr. Martin because they're awful! Patient Beware! She's not nice; they're are SO many reviews that agree! A nurse named Joanna was the only person that had a smile on her face and a compliment to give. She was so lovely and so friendly. Joanna was A plus. I will never return to Dr. Martin. What a joke to pay hundreds of dollars to wait two hours to be treated like an imbecile.

My husband and I waited for 10 minutes before being acknowledged by front desk staff who were on the phone. Then my husband waited over an 1 hour to been seen by a clinician. Then upon the medical technican coming in, she asked the same questions multiple times and asked me to leave the room. Then after 30 minutes the doctor came in and stated my husband was non-compliant. My husband left the appointment without any action other than to be called non-compliant. The doctor told him there are other choices available. He wasn't treated after waiting over 1 1/2 for his appt. I recommend other choices for treatement.

Will not recommend at all. Pathetic, insensitive behavior. Made me feel so bad that I almost cried. Kept blaming me for telling her the health issues I had. Never seen any doctor like her. Pathetic.

Rude, belittling doctor with no empathy
I was Dr. Martin’s patient for a few years. As time passed, she began ordering more and more frequent, unnecessary, occasionally redundant tests. I tried to chalk it up to being thorough, but when I began to refuse some of the tests, she became increasingly rude, judgmental, and even belittling in her demeanor. The last straw was when I came in for some odd symptoms and asked for a pregnancy test, as well. I am 40+ years old, I’ve been married for over 20 years, I have children, I’m well-educated, and I have no intention of having more children. When I asked for a pregnancy test, because of my symptoms, knowing it was in the realm of possibility, the woman, Dr. Martin, became bitterly judgmental, lecturing me on proper birth control, rolling her eyes and shaking her head, she became downright hateful & belittling. I took the test, but she had me crying as we waited for the results. Thankfully, it was negative, but she continued her angry rant as I left the office. Never again!

Goodby Dr Martin!
Annual physical visit ...the lab tests submitted by Dr martin had me marked as obese, which in turn the insurance denied payment. I m not obese nor is she treating me for such..my tests results were normal.

Dr. Pam Martin is the "real deal."
Dr. Martin is a true professional. She listens well. She always describes her diagnosis and the treatment plan she recommends in terms that are understandable. Dr. Martin and her staff at North Hills Family Medicine are quick to respond to appointment requests and other questions submitted through the patient portal. Prescription issues and lab test results are, also, quickly resolved through the patient portal. If you are searching for a physician that is accessible and responsive to your requests, you need search no further.

If you want to be treated like you are stupid and wait for hours with no explanation she is the DR for you. Dr. Martin was an hour and a half late for my appointment and didn't acknowledge my long wait, nor did the office when I expressed concern that they had forgotten about me. She spoke down to me and didn't listen to my health concern. She had a script she followed and when I asked a question she did not acknowledge it. She talks constantly and does not listen to learn only to respond. My sinus issues did not clear up on the steroid she prescribed, so I required follow up. Again she talked to down to me and told me I was lucky she called back. This after I left a message for her nurse, her office manager and on her medical online portal over the course of 36 hours. She told me I had not done my part in contacting her correctly. When I told her I had left multiple messages with various people and online she said she didn't have record of them. Just plain bad service.

Dr Martin has been taking care of me for 17 years. She is always looking out for me and makes sure that my insureance is covering any test she needs done. Over the years she has fought for me on the type of medication i had to have and the insureance didn't want to pay for it. After she got ahold of them i got the medication I needed with 999 refills left, yes that right 999 refills on it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pamela Martin's since she established her practice here in Keller, more than 15 years ago. I love her strict - no nonsense, yet caring and compassionate bedside manner. She and Nurse Ty are on top of all my medical needs. Dr. Martin never fails to make inquiries as to my family's health and well-being. What excites me about her practice even more now is the opportunity to communicate directly with her via the patient portal. As a patient, all these many years, I have seen tremendous growth and progress in her entire organization. With respect to areas like - on site access to LabCorp and specialists, walk-in patient care, weekend appointments, patient wait time, and follow up communication - I have only praise for the manner in which her office has evolved in an effort to meet patient needs and the demands of patient schedules. If you're looking for a physician, who is hands-on and will keep "wide"eyes on your health, I highly recommend Dr. Pamela Martin.

Dr Martin explained the process of selecting the right surgeon and helped by giving several references over time until I found the right doctor for me. I've been seeing her for years and find her to be forthright with my healthcare when I'm hesitant to face it. Although others may not, I appreciate and at times need her style of encouragement. And, I know that she does care about my well-being.
