WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE EVER
My first issue is the bedside manner. This man was in and out of the exam room in under 5 minutes. I waited almost a year for the appointment and I was so angry that I just left the office without speaking to a nurse for a folllw up appointment. Mind you, my co pay is $25. I didn’t get ANY helpful information or tips regarding my situation instead was told that I am to have a biopsy performed. He didn’t address my blood presssure, my labs, my lifestyle, etc NOTHING! I get a call from him office to schedule an ultrasound WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED AFTER OUR FIRST VISIT IN FEB 2022. This is my first time having to have a nephrologist and it’s been an endless struggle that doesn’t produce anything but EXPENSIVE labs. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANY ONE!

No Beside Manner.
My first (and only appointment) with Dr. Ram was more like wham, bam, thank you ma’am. I was seeing the doctor due to complications of cancer chemotherapy and surgery. He walked into the exam room, looked at my meds, turned and asked how I was feeling (I answered him), he turned back to my meds, told me to stop one due to it being harsh on the kidneys. He did not explain any of the test results he had ordered. This excluded the $1,080.00 in tests that I was billed by Quest for tests not covered by Medicare or my gap-insurance carrier. He should have know these tests would not be covered. He never asked any questions, or did any type of exam. He walked out of the exam room saying he would see me in four months and closed the door. The entire appointment from start to finish was no more than four maybe five minutes. I will not recommended this doctor to anyone. DAB (07-11-2022)

I had an 11:45 appt and showed up to find out that the doctor had gone home at 10 because he had no more appointments for the day. I was called the day prior to the appt to confirm whether I wanted an in person or telephone call visit. I confirmed that I wanted an in person visit. The day of the appt, I was told that I should have been called and told to come in early if I wanted to see the doctor. This reflects horribly on the communication in Dr. Ram's office and hope it is not a reflection of the actual medical care he provides. This was to be my first visit with him since my original doctor left the practice.

Dr Ram falsified records and tried to get my insurance company to approve his experimental drugs. He said I didn’t need surgery when 2 other drs said I did.
