Dr. Paolo Bahr, DO

I saw Dr. Bahr years ago while he was at Sunflower Family Medicine, but I will never forget my interaction with him. I had a recurring rash which I now know to be caused by a gluten intolerance. He took a sample for the lab and later I returned to go over the results. The lab had unfortunately lost the result, but Dr. Bahr felt confidant in diagnosing my rash as shingles (there was no pain, only severe itching). I asked him why I would be getting shingles so often (I was just under 30 years old then). He then offered an additional diagnosis of AIDS. I told him I had an HIV test within the last year and had been married for several years. He suggested my husband was cheating on me and gave me AIDS! How careless to diagnose an otherwise healthy person with AIDS (not even HIV) without doing any tests or even suggesting further tests. He should NOT be allowed to work with patients. He is the worst doctor (and human) I have ever encountered.

Very intuitive with me, so he was the doctor I didn't know I needed. He got me seen for something I wasn't yet willing to ask for help with and it really helped me. He helped me problem solve my physical ailment I came in about, but more importantly we started to address my mental health in a real way.

This is the worst medical office ever! From the extremely rude nurse Faith to the unprofessional Dr. Bahr, I can't imagine a worst place to go when you need medical attention. They don't listen, they treat patients horribly and should be shut down.

Excellent doctor. Easy to talk with. Listens carefully.

Dr. Is disrespectful, somewhat arrogant, and about as warm as a rock buried under snow. Argumentative and unwilling to answer questions, even to clarify issues. You do it his way or not at all. Do not recommend. The trouble with his primary care practice is young docs come and move on leaving him to deal with long term patients. I have changed provider to someone well established who is respectful, warm and a partner in my health care.
