Dr. Parham Mora, MD

I have never been left crying in pain, unable to sleep at all by any Dr I have ever seen. I have never been talked to so meanly from a Dr. I just wanted to understand why he is so against medical pain management. He would not even let me speak while I sat there crying not understanding how he could suddenly, after many years of seeing him, be so cruel. Every patient and surgery is different. He NEVER looked at my incisionsafter surgery to discharge. Even though he had been told one wound opened up.

My Gastroenterologist referred me to Dr. Mora for a RNY Revision after 22 years. He answered all of my questions, provided detailed info on what would be done step by step. He was hands on during surgery and after. Drew me charts explaining everything. I couldn’t ask for a more competent surgeon. Five Stars.

I had hemroid surgery. It became infected I contacted his office and they refused to see me until the scheduled follow up date. I had to go to E.R to be treated.

Staff would not give me my test results. Said they will call later. They have not. Been 2 weeks.

Dr. Mora performed a surgery that certainly saved my life. My recovery was swift and without complication. I would give more than 5 stars if it were possible.

Dr. Mora performed a gastric bypass on me in August, 2003. Everything went perfect. His staff was also amazing and i lost the 79 lbs i needed to be healthy and a wonderful size 10 (5'11"). There was a surgical staff member who took it upon himself to come and check on me because he knew I had no family in Alabama. I never got his name, but to this day, I am so grateful. Due to my own failures, depression after my mom's illness and death, I've gained 70 lbs and am going to look for Dr. Mora again to give me another jump start. I was so glad to type his name in and see he is still in Pratville so I can make an appointment soon. I don't want anyone else to perform this surgery but him!

I was super nervous seeing a surgeon for an intestinal issue I had. Dr mora was so kind and understanding and I was put on his surgery schedule promptly to move forward with the plan of care he suggested. HE talked to me for almost 45 minutes, even though he had many patients waiting to see him. I felt relieved leaving there knowing I was in his hands. He is a very thorough and caring doctor.

my mom had a colonoscopy and he busted through her intestines and had to take out 8 inches. A staple was left and found 4 months later and she ended up with full blown MRSA....long story short ....she died a horrific death

Dr Mora has always done an excellent job of taking care of my family....all ages. Today he took care of my husband at Jackson Surgery Center. Dr More's and his office made the quick scheduling of the procedure very easy. The office was caring and efficient. His staff covered all the bases with my insurance company in a thorough manner. Dr Mora personally took a lot of time speaking to me and easing my anxiety...very attentive to details. He is very easy to talk to about any and all symptoms.

I, supposedly needed a section of my intestine removed to correct a fistula that formed as a result of diverticulitis. Not only did it not correct my bladder, the fistula became worse and became severely infected to the point I had to check into the local ED for massive bleeding. The whole time Dr. Mora remained aloof and complacent through it all. I have to have another surgery to correct what the original surgery was supposed to take care of.

Dr. Mora and his staff consistently go above and beyond with patient care. I have nothing negative to say.

Worst experience ever with a medical doctor. Argumentative and disrespectful. He didn't even disclose the full results of my pathology report.

Dr. Mora is an excellent physician, very thorough. He very intelligent and straight to the point. I had a pleasant experience in the office with the staff as well. They were very approachable. Answered all my question that I had regarding my surgery. Will definitely recommend this office and doctor to everyone in the community.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had from the office personnel to the doctor patient relationship. When I asked to speak with the Dr Mora , I was told that was not going to happen. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I am considering contacting the hospital personally for a more in depth conversation.

Dr Mora was very patient and thoroughly explained my conditions and the measures he would take to correct my issue
