I left several messages and they never call you back, all I get is answer machine, so discouraging.

Office never reached back to me or Insurance Company also the other number is incorrect its 2022 and cant speak to a live person . Or on line email!

TERRIBLE!!!!! Unfortunately, my father was put under his care at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Charles for Dementia. My father was admitted due to hallucinations because of the disease, which alone is scary. Dr. Patel contradicted himself on documents... he can NOT be trusted. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend him. If by chance you have no choice and are under his care - or - have a loved one assigned to his care... document & record everything! If I could give NO stars... that would be my rating!

This man, Dr. Parimal Patel, is rude and undeserving of his position. He treated me during a stay at DePaul. He lied to my face about my fiancè signing an affidavit against me in order to excuse keeping me in the hospital for longer. This lie destroyed my relationship with my partner, and we have since separated. There was no affidavit signed. He treated me as less than a person, forcing me to remain in an extraordinarily stressful situation in which my mental health deteriorated further for longer than necessary. He also lied to me about my medical diagnosis, which I later discovered on MyChart. He is a horrible provider, and I would never recommend him to anyone.

This was the most unprofessional office I have ever been to. 3 separate times my uncle was scheduled for an appointment only to sit in an office waiting room for 3hrs or longer and the doctor isn't even in the area. Today my uncle had an appointment scheduled for 2:15pm, I walked him to the waiting area, went to have a bite to eat and returned at 3:07 to see my uncle still sitting where I left him. I ask the receptionist how much longer, only to hear once again the doctor isnt there. Worst place

Very nice staff. Hes awesome as well. My brother gets good care from them.

My son was hospitalized in DePaul for five days ICU. The nurses called Dr. Patel (assigned to my son) for four days leaving messages for a consult. Never heard from him. The day after discharge he called after I filed a complaint with the hospital. Apologized - said he was busy - and agreed to continue seeing my son as a courtesy for his lack of communication. I've left 5 messages with his office five days now - no return call not even from a staff member- if you need help find someone else.

I have been with Dr. Patel for at least five years. He is the only psychiatrist I have ever trusted and he listens to me. He is honest and smart and he memory is incredible. He takes the time to listen to me. So if I have to wait in his (way to small) waiting room for over an hour past my appointment I don't care. I know hes just giving people the time they need. I just bring a book.

He is a wonderful doctor! He is very professional. He really cares about his patient's. I am so happy I found him as a doctor.

I searched long and hard for a psychiatrist that really cared about his patient.....I have a 30 years special needs daughter that has among other disabilities, schizophrenia......Dr. Patel, in my opinion, is the best.....you do wait, but you will not be sorry....if you think about it, that is why you are waiting because he is the best....

He was INCREDIBLE!!! He is PAYING IT FORWARD AND TRUELY CARES FOR HIS PATIENTS!! It was such a joy to meet him, look forward to the next visit !! Definitely make sure to try and get in with him. You will be so grateful you did ?? Very Professional !

He's a great doctor that will take the time to listen to you and address any issues that you may be having. Been a patient for a long time and I trust him. He cares about you getting better.

He is so down to earth and very compassionate.......I wouldn't want to have any other Dr other than him. Plus he is so intelligent!!!!!!!! I just Love him!!!!!!!

Excellent with medications and with diagnosis

I love this physician. He takes the time to hear patients and care for them. He treat them as people and engage family in mental illness care. I would want anyone with a mental illness to have him as your doctor.

I have seen Dr Patel many times now. He is very considerate and listens to what you have to say. Iv would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good Dr in his field
