Amazing physician
I saw her for a few years in Somerville. She took plenty of time to explain things to me and she was incredibly knowledgeable on a wide range of options. I wish I still lived nearby to take my family to her.

As my PCP, Dr. Tomkins has been essential to my health and continuity of care for several years. She never fails to take the time to check in about what ails you, be it mental or physiological (she'd say 'it's all connected'). She's very thorough. During the pandemic, her office was dissolving and relocating somewhere far from public transit, which would have made her practice inaccessible for many of her patients. She changed practices to another local group and made sure that accepting every one of her previous patients was part of her hiring agreement. This is profound proof that she will not abandon you to find a new doctor! I also love her new practice (Family Practice Group). They are clean and respectful.
