Our experience with Dr Amin was excellent. His patient care is great. He explains his treatment plan throughly and answered all our questions. The team at Bronson took great care to meet our needs. It was obvious how much they respect Dr Amin.

He literally gave me the shirt off his back. I said I liked his shirt, so he left the office, and came back wearing another shirt and gave me his. Then he kept on talking about surgery as if nothing happened. So bizarre, but I am finally breathing again after getting heart surgery! I’m alive again, thanks though Dr Amin!!!!!!

This guy marches to the beat of his own drum in a good way. He’s no nonsense, a bit crazy in a good way, and doesn’t fit into the mold of what a surgeon is like. He’s a cut above the rest. He’s part of our family now.

I have had a lot of doctors and surgeries over the years. He is unusual. He is always by himself when he rounds, he is very professional, but down to earth. He is confident but also a little shy. He explains things well in normal words. He is caring and listens to make sure I understand things. He does amazing surgeries and then acts like it’s no big deal and everyone else on the team does all the work. He is my hero. Thank you Dr Amin for giving me my life back and for being so humble.

Dr. Amin and his team at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI were beyond amazing at every step of my open heart surgery journey. From initial testing/diagnosis, to explaining my condition, to pre-surgery and post-surgery consultations, I was treated with the upmost compassion, respect and professionalism by Dr. Amin and his team. On 1/5/24, Dr. Amin performed a mitral valve repair, left atrial appendage ligation and PFO closure of a small hole between my upper heart chambers. Dr. Amin is truly a gifted and talented cardiothoracic surgeon who also fully understands the emotional and psychological impacts such a major surgery can have on the patient and family. Dr. Amin called me the day before my surgery just to see how I was doing and to help alleviate any stress or anxiety. While I considered having my open heart surgery at U of M or Cleveland Clinic, I'm so happy I decided to stay local with Dr. Amin and his amazing team! THANK YOU DR. AMIN!

Dr Amin is not an ordinary doctor. My father had good care from icu doctors, from the cardiologist that put his stent in, and from the emergeny room doctors at bronson. But this man was exceptional. His only role was to provide a simple opinion, which he did. But for all the doctors, he was the one that was our guide, our support, our source of information, our educator, our caretaker. My family was upset about another doctor's bedside manner, and so when Dr Amin came in the room, everyone in my family lashed out at him. He took the questions, the misguided anger, and the confusion, and he just took the abuse for over 2 hours. And then he came back the next evening, the next morning, and every day. I never saw the cardiologist that put the stent in, I was confused when the different doctors came in. Dr Amin would come in, spend the time to explain things, call me if I wasnt there. My time with my father was so precious. He gave that to me. He cares intensely with his entire soul.

Dr Amin is simply the best. I think the reviews are spot on! I will add that it is his expectations from the top that make the care I got so good. He is always involved every step of the way and clearly also expects his team to go above and beyond. Even though the team is wonderful, Dr Amin's presence, both directly and indirectly, was clear throughout my stay. He is so funny as well, and wish he wasnt so busy so he could chat with us more!

I have read the other reviews and had my heart fixed by Dr Amin who is a briliant and gifted surgeon and a salt of the earth person. I will also add that like the other reviews, i think that God put Dr Amin and Christi together as a team. Some times Dr Amin would call me, sometimes Christi would call me, and same thing after srugery. They both brought different parts of care to me, complimented each other, and were both kind and caring and very informative about my medcal issues. They were both able to explain things in plain English. It was clear that they worked as a team, a real team and it was a natural combination. I am blessed to have the best team that exists for heart surgery. Really an unreal combination!

Dr Amin and Christi make the greatest team ever!!!! Explained everything so clearly, both handle different peices of stuff, but the whole package is delivered! How did Bronson get these two to work together?! I have been at Bronson for so much medical care and have NEVER had a team like this! One of the scariest experiences in my life turned into the best care I ever got! I hope Bronson keeps these two around and working together for a long tim3e!!

About 10 years ago, Dr Amin saved my life. I had a leaking bowel after the head of the department did an operation on me. I had intestine juice leaking everywhere on my skin and many entocutines fistulas. For two years, I was in pain, could not eat and every doctor I met told me that I was too high risk for an operation. Dr Amin took me on as a patient, gave me nutrition through a tube, and then did an operation that fixed all of it. I was in the hospital for 10 days and he saw me every day, and even though the doctors were supposed to switch, he still took care of me and didn’t take any time off. I am crying right now thinking of this man and every year, I thank God that I was lucky enough to have had him as a doctor. I know he has left Iowa and when I found out, I cried because I was worried that if I had another problem, no one could help me. Thankfully, I have no issues and have been doing great. God bless him.

My health has clearly been Dr Amin's priority. Even when problems came up that werent in his specialty years later, he still continued to play quarterback and guide my care so that I had a good outcome.

Great doctor. He talked to me and my family in ways that make sense to us. Did a good job keeping us infomred. Very happy with his good outcome in surgery and strong staff. Dr Amin and his nurse Christi make a team that cant be beat!

Dr Parth Amin, is one of the most incredible skilled surgeons out there, along with exceptional and outstanding bedside matters. He goes over and beyond with his level of communication with, not only his patient but family member also, which is extremely comforting and reassuring. He also takes the time and in great detail, explain your procedure. If we could rate his level of care it would be more like a 10 starts not 5. We highly,highly recommend him if you are looking for a fantastic vascular surgeon. Through our experience Dr. Amin and his staff is the absolute best. We can't praise him enough!! Doc was great. Called me every few days during the virus lockdown to see how husband was doing because of cancelled surgery adn then got me in when it was safe. did a great job. love this doctor.

I would recommend Dr. Amin to anyone! He preformed bypass on my father and was amazing. Not only did he explained everything to where we could understand he was genuinely concurred for our father and our wellbeing. He called after my dad was discharged to check on him and the whole family. He's a rockstar!

Dr Amin performed a quadruple bypass on me recently. The Doctors ability to explain everything and reassure myself and my Family had a great calming effect and gave us a true thrust and faith that what was about to happen would be a success Even after being discharged from the hospital he would contact the house to see how I was doing which is something I have never heard of or happened to anyone else before The Dr is one of the most gifted charismatic men I have ever met in my life

Our Father had bypass surgery and Dr. Amin was the most amazing physician I have ever encountered. He explained things in layman's terms and ensured we completely understood everything that was taking place. I have never met a more unassuming and compassionate doctor in my life. To say he had great bedside manor would be an understatement. He called to check on my Father more than once and was always available to answer questions or concerns after his surgery. I couldn't say enough about this fabulous doctor.

My father is currently under the care of multiple department and is unable to participate in his own care decisions. Dr. Amin has been my rock through the rollercoaster of this past month. He has made sure all of my questions and concerns have been answered and that I am always informed and up to date on my fathers care even while much of it falls outside of the cardio department. I can not say enough good things about this man and the peace I feel when making difficult decisions for my father. If you find yourself or your loved one under Dr. Amin's care know that you are in the hands of a very caring, thoughtful and rational doctor who will help you in every way he can. I can only hope that my father and my family will continue to be so blessed with amazing providers including and like Dr. Amin on his journey forward.

I highly recommend Dr. Amin. He performed open heart surgery on me replacing my heart valve. I was very nervous and afraid when I went to see him on my first appointment. He spent over an hour with me and explained everything that was going to happen regarding my surgery and recovery. By the end of that visit he felt like a trusted friend that was extremely qualified. I had complete and total trust in his ability. He is the most compassionate, caring and competent doctor I could have hoped for.
