Dr. Parvaneh Bahmani, MD

I read the other reviews but still tried to give Dr. Bahmani a chance. The doctor's front office staff is very difficult to deal with, aggressive and disorganized. The doctor barely examined me during my annual physical and was going on and on about unrelated topics during the exam. When I asked questions, she googled the topics a few times to get answers. A few days later I asked the front desk for a prescription that I discussed with the doctor, and I was told that I needed to schedule another appointment with the Doctor and come in again to get the prescription. I insisted that I had already spoken with the doctor about this prescription. Billing errors down the line, hours and hours on the phone with my insurance company to fix their office billing errors ---just a horrible experience overall. I would stay away from Dr. Bahmani and her office at all costs. It's not worth it at all.

I only had interaction with her office asking where an office was located; the curt receptionist did not look up and said I don’t know.. She didn’t offer to assist; should be fired. Might I add that the medical office I was seeking was right around the corner.

I was a patient if Dr Bahmani for several years. No more. Tired of the ineptness of her staff. Tired of the unreturned phone calls. Tired of chasing after my prescription refills. Tired of the hours late TeleHealth calls. Tired of rarely seeing her look up from her computer screen. Tired of her dismissive bedside manner. Tired of my yearly physical which was always rushed and inadequate. I am no longer her patient and while I’m still searching for a new PCP, I don’t see any drop off in my medical care. That should tell perspective patients everything they need to know. Do not pass go, do not pay Bahmani $200.

Dr. Bahmani is very arrogant and acts as if she is better than anyone. She was not compassionate and gets quickly irritated if you ask questions. She has poor bedside manner and I don’t recommend her.

Dr. Bahmani was incredibly unhelpful. She didn't help me with any of my questions and worst of all made me feel stupid about them. Once I tried to reiterate my questions to her, she simply asked me if I was a doctor and seemed to get upset at the fact that I had even tried to re ask my questions. It was a truly awful experience. I do not recommend going to see her.

The initial visit was thorough. I have an hmo and all specialty drs need to be approved, I did research with the medical.group to have specialists that are closer, after three emails to her, never heard back from her. It seems like all she cared about was the initial consult and that was it. It has been two weeks and no response. I will be leaving more reviews on other sites and calling my insurance provider to change Dr's and medical.group

"I can only help you with one or two things. Pick what is bugging you the most." Those were the comforting words Dr. Bahmani welcomed me with after mentioning the issues I came to her with. I've been with Dr. Bahmani for a few years now. The faulty healthcare system man handles me into having to lose money and hours of the day with an appointment with her just to get a referral. I always try to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I think that's just how she is.

I absolutely recommend her and she is quite knowledgeable and she listens and care for her patients.. the fact that she is a medical doctor, she can also be your mentor. She goes beyond her practice and she helps with a kind-heart... A doctor like her where everyone will look up to... remarkable and amazing doctor. Kudos to her team as well.
