Dr. Patricia Abruna, MD

Abruna didn't provide or indicate any exercise routine while my wife was pregnant. My wife had to be induced and Abruna made absolutely no attempt to help her out. Her just waited in the room with a blank face. Without giving us any time, she indicated that a C-section was needed. We strongly believe that the surgery could have been avoided and a normal delivery was possible. We had a much more supportive doctor for our second child and the second one turned out to be a normal delivery. The surgery was certainly avoidable with a doctor who truly cared. Abruna, unfortunately, didn't.

I first saw Dr Abruna when I was pregnant and she seemed to care a lot more about my health and well being when I was carrying another human being. She came into my appointments ready to answer questions and pretty much gave me her time of day. Once Katy depot left and I was no longer pregnant, I had to see her for my annual exam. She literally came in acting as if I was just a check off her list for the day. Barely talked to me, asked me how I was or was feeling and her words were “ exam is normal, your done. Dont get me wrong, we all want a quick in and out pap smear but when I asked when I should look into my next mammogram, said “ when your 40” so quickly without even checking my chart. ImPretty positive she had not an ounce of a clue my family history or the fact that I had a benign tumor that I thought was getting bigger. I was worried about that. She never gave me a breast exam. I feel like its doctors like this who find out they have stage 4 breast cancer at age 40.

They say the first impression is what stays. I loved my consultation with Dr Abruna excellent. I will make a new report after my surgery

Dr. Abruna is an excellent Doctor. Caring, compassionate, understanding, and she cares and listens. Extremely knowledgeable and to the point. She goes above and beyond for her patients. She is truly the best Doctor I have been to. Truly cares about her patient entire well being.

Excellent physician. She is very smart, has great knowledge and is thoughtful. She is to the point, and that doesn't sit well with some people. will miss her now that she is gone from New Jersey. The physician is great.

Absolute worst experience and treatment I have ever come across. She is indifferent and rushed, unable to keep track of which patient she is taking care of. One of her medical assistants actually apologized on her behalf for her behavior to me and stated Dr. Abruna is very busy. I understand that however I wonder if she should have so many patients under her name if she is unable to handle the task. Her receptionists are incredibly rude, especially Yelenia who hung up the phone during a call.

Her office staff is awful and incompetent. Dr. Abruna is young and inexperience. She is not qualified to be a doctor. It was a scary visit and I had to see a 2nd doctor. I would not recommend anyone to her. Search around for a good office and doctor.
