Dr. Patricia Beauzile, MD

Worst labor experience in 2018. Still gives me nightmares. Will never ever go back whichever hospital she's located at.

She really listens to you and is very up-to-date on gyn issues. I'm unsure if she's at the same office now, but I always felt heard and was given good guidance.

I love Dr. Beauzile! She was fantastic throughout my pregnancy and delivered my baby after a 20 hour labor. She is personable, funny, and real. She is also highly intelligent and knows what she is doing. She will tell it like it is, but also has a lot of empathy. She spent time talking with me about anything whether that was about raising my kid in this type of area or about a potential medical abnormality.

I saw Dr. Beauzile for my first prenatal visit. She was not personable at all and did not have good bedside manner. She did not treat me like a first time mom and made me feel stupid for asking specific questions regarding specific restrictions during pregnancy like caffeine intake, travel, etc. She specifically said that I am type A and need to expect my pregnancy to not go as expected. Once I pointed out that my blood pressure was high, she told me I was high risk of pre-eclampsia and my baby would most likely die and that I could too. She was unable to use the ultrasound machine and could not even give me a definite HR reading. needless to say I switched to a new practice immediately.

I love Dr. Beauzile! I have had problems with my lady parts form years and have been in so much pain and she was the only doctor who figured out what was wrong with my body. She got me on a great treatment plan towards where if I wanted to have kids in the future I could. She has always been caring and getting down to what is going on. She is personal and she always takes her time with me to make sure that I am understanding what she is doing. She has done two of my three surgeries and I never had a problem! 10/10 would recommend her.

I went into labor and Dr. Beauzile was on call at the hospital. She used forceps unnecessarily, against my wishes, and I've had to have three procedures since to attempt to correct the damage and now have to go back into the operating room for reconstructive surgery. She didn't tell me the extent of damage that was done, and I didn't know until four months post partum in an evaluation from another doctor. She did not provide proper aftercare instructions and never followed up with a referral for pelvic floor PT which she mentioned I may want. She was not warm or friendly and talked about me with the nurses as if I was not in the room throughout my delivery. She did not seem to know what she was doing and had several 'brainstorming' sessions with nurses during delivery, asking them for ideas. Once the baby was born I never saw her again. I would go to a different hospital if she is the doctor on call. I may never fully recover from the poor job she did for an unnecessary procedure.
