Worst Doctor's Experience Ever!
She should not be seeing patients she does not have the bedside manner to do so and appears to be scared of patients who are ill like they have the plague or something. Shame on Kaiser for keeping her employed.

Terrible bedside manner
I also had a terrible experience with her. She treated me like I would make her skin melt if she touched me. I’m sick not poisonous and she’s a doctor. Seems odd to treat patients that way. If you don’t want to be around sick people why become a doctor? I didn’t feel safe walking alone so I asked for help to the lobby so I can reach my husband. I was dizzy and feeling faint. She told me to leave out the door, would not help and walked out after that. She also told me I probably got sick because I don’t wash my hands after using the bathroom or and eating. Who says that to someone!?

I also had the experience of feeling she was condescending and had bad bedside manner. I felt like Dr. Chu was impatient with me and my health concerns. Then after giving me incorrect advice to try for a few months to address one issue that a specialist quickly advised against, I decided it was past time to switch doctors.

I have never been treated so rudely by someone, much less someone in the medical field. I went to Wellstar Urgent Care in Marietta and waited 3.5 hours to be seen, then another 1.5 hours in a room. I finally went out of the room to ask for water and there was not a soul to be found. Finally, found a nurse who gave me a bottle of water. I was running fever, coughing, headache, body aches and after a series of tests this PA shows up talking quickly and loudly and asked what do I want from this visit? Do I want anti-biotics or steroids or both? Im not a medical professional. I rarely get sick. I told her that I just want to feel better. Unbelievable behavior.

Dr. Chu was my primary doctor at Kaiser because she was the only female doctor accepting new patients (I wonder why?). Her bedside manner is horrible. She doesn’t smile, she made me feel super uncomfortable and she seemed very condescending. Was so relieved when I was finally able to switch doctors.

Refused to authorize my BRCA test despite strong family history of cancer because mom didn't do it (multiple new doctors suggested + had no problem providing it, regardless). No discussion, only shut me down. Also shut me down over IUD as birth control, based on its 3-5 year lifespan (I know) and assuming I would have had children in that time (did not, and had not planned to; she never asked).
