Dr. Patricia Fontenot, DO

We have been seeing her for over 20 years. She is always thorough and loves seeing our kids. She is very helpful, kind and understanding. My kids are always happy to see her.

I will just say this.... if you want to be talked to like a child, belittled in front of your children, if you have ANY questions or concerns with vaccines and how they affect your child and if you may want to get them on a vaccine schedule outside of the one that she approves of, if you want someone with a hateful and disrespectful bedside manner that always seems to know more about your child than you do, if you want someone who rushes you through appointments and gives you that passive aggres

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING THIS OFFICE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY CARE! I made an appt a month ago and explained to two different people that I was the legal guardian of a child that needs shots and a physical. They called me the evening prior to his appt that they were not going to be able to see him bc of an insurance issue. After speaking with Gayla, Jay, and their regional manager the problem was not cleared up & they admitted to not even calling to confirm coverage

Front office staff is rude and acts put out when you call them for anything. Called multiple times about getting some referral paperwork filled out and sent back to a clinic only to call three days later and be told nothing was done because they "didn't receive the fax of the paperwork and couldn't read the fax of my insurance card." I specifically left my number for a call back and she did nothing. (Gala). Dr. Fontenot's beside manner has gone downhill in recent years also. Time to find new Dr.

Daughter calls me asking if we have copy of recent shot records.Say no they have her records, been going since born.RN on phone states unable to access old records due to facility move.Run a titer check blood. Ok with that.Dr. Fontenot tells son need shot records, spoke w/her via speaker phone. Angry, rude, condescending stating she is having to jump through hoops to get these shots done. My children 19,18,17,7 have been her pt. since birth. Lack of bedside manner display in front of children.

She is a horrid person and has a major lack of empathy for patience. If you don't mind be treated like you don't have a brain then she is the perfect fit for you an your family. But if you prefer a doctor with a heart you better look elsewhere.

The staff and PA are wonderful.However Dr. Fontenot lacks in bedside manner and presenting empathy. I am a manager of customer service for a fortune 500 company and teach people daily on how to exceed a customer expectation of great customer service. Sad to admit that I have employees who are in their 20s with better bed-side manner. She may be a good doctor but sad to say we wont find out. I pray our next generation are better PEOPLE so they become better doctors. But her STAFF is wonderful

This is the worst Doctor EVER and it takes forever to get an appointment. I would bring my son in multiple times a month for ear infections. I asked to be referred to an ENT (per my insurance). She said no. So I kept taking him there while I waited for open enrollment so I could change my insurance. By the time I was able to get him in to an ENT, he had lost so much hearing and was developmentally behind. When she found out I took him to an ENT SHE WROTE A LETTER STATING I WAS THE WORST MOM EVER
