Dr. Patricia Jones, MD

I met with Dr Jones via telehealth conference - so personable, informative and positive with information relating to my personal medical needs and recommendations for future treatments. She readily answered all questions and explained everything in terms easily understood. Thank you, Dr Jones, for helping me to feel optimistic about my personal health issues.

Dr. Jones was assigned to my husband at UM emergency room. He was extremely jaundice and had very dark urine. For weeks she barely gave him any attention, impossible to reach and did little to help or look any further than a parasite or infection from recent travel. We wanted an MRI to be prescribed, she did not think it was necessary. We finally paid out of pocket to get an MRI to find it was bile duct/pancreatic cancer. When she was told the MRI showed the cancer she said in a very defensive, nasty tone there was no indication that the MRI was required. I guess turning as yellow as a post it note and urine dark and bloody was not enough. It hurts me to see that she is listed with pancreatic skills as a doctor. Her treatment to my husband still haunts me. I can’t help to think that a skilled doctor would know the correct tests to preform in a timely manner.

I am very upset with Dr Jones. She was extremely dismissive and put my fatty liver issues down just as poor diet and little exercise. I told her that I am a long time cancer patient on a lot of STRONG medication to prevent reoccurance and I am taking more medications for side effects. I cook 90% of my food, use little salt and I have NOT been able to do much exercise because I have had 5 surgeries last year, an emergency surgery this year etc..and yet when I tested positive for a possible autoimmune disease... she seems put out that I am concerned and that I have contacted an autoimmune specialist.I am crying. She made me feel unworthy.. just Fat and ugly.Yet my stomach swelling and radical weight gain happened AFTER I got hosptialized for infection and surgery.Run from this doctor. I am so upset. She need to significantly improve her bedside manner. I had a virtual appointment and she spent most of her time not looking at me. Guess I really am not important. She ga
