Dr. Patricia Lloyd, MD

My first impression was great! The intake nurse(?) that was young, willing & helpful. Dr. Lloyd struck me as a very knowledgeable physician. Unfortunately, the office staff is questionable. The receptionist called me re: a “missed follow up appt”. which I informed her, was a mistake! I hadn’t yet even seen the other doctors Dr. Lloyd referred me to, which would be the reason for the follow up. I requested a correction be made, to reflect no outstanding charges. Now I have creditors calling!?

So I had a women’s exam today in which I was given a test I didn’t know I was getting and during the exam nothing was explained as it was happening. It was very disconcerting to have areas probed that I didn’t know were about to be probed. I’m going back for the follow up to see what it says and that will be my last visit.

I had been seeing my doctor for years. Lately it seemed that the appointments lasted only long enough to collect a co-pay, never seeing a doctor, only a PA. The last straw was to schedule a full physical before surgery, and when showing up was told that they only had labs scheduled. Dr. Lloyd is very thorough, going through your entire medical history and making sure to check for things that you might not know is a problem yet. Very knowledgeable and makes sure that follow ups are one on one.

Just spare yourself the scam. They're not going to give you your results without wanting to charge you for everything. They literally told me something was wrong but did not give me my results just kept PUSHING for a follow up. Something "small" can turn into a bigger deal so I suggest to everyone they've done this to, get legal help if it has turned into something bigger. I want to make sure they stop this * you spare yourself the headache and go elsewhere, where the dr is helpful & responsive.

I’m very surprised to read some of the reviews here. Dr Lloyd is very skilled at managing my complex medical history and doesn’t brush anything off. She’s thorough and keeps track of everything so I don’t t leave the office without mentioning xyz- she asks. As far as the bills go, they aren’t representative of what actually gets billed to the insurance company. The insurance company has an agreement already in place with her office for each procedure, like most docs these days.

I was upset by my experience at Dr. Lloyd's office. They took 3 HOURS to see me. Dr. Lloyd would interrupt me when I spoke and did not create and open and welcoming environment during our encounter. The office was not clean and the medical equipment was extremely outdated. The staff did not behave in a professional manner. There were over 10 people in the waiting room complaining about long wait times. I will not be returning and I would not recommend it to anyone.
