While the doctor is well educated, the nurse practitioner seems rather passionless. She's there just to be there. I do like how they are pro-CBD oil. However, they never bothered to look at any imaging studies I've done which makes me wonder why since their niche is pain management. If they did look at those old records , they never discussed it with me. I stopped going to this clinic and ended up seeing a chiropractor because of insurance change. The chiropractor took x-rays and turns out I have a serious neck condition that when I brought up the signs/symptoms with Dr. Karl's care team previously they wanted to do the "wait and see" approach.

I was referred by my PCP due to chronic pain as a result of osteoarthritis and lower spine bone spurs with disc degeneration. The only professional I saw was the receptionist. After 2 hours in the waiting room, an individual, who never bothered to introduce herself or apologize for my wait, took me back to a room after a urine test (I wonder if they think all patients are drug seekers or addicts?) The Dr. came in at the 2.5 hour mark and proceeded to tell me what medications he would be giving me with no input from myself at all. Needless to say, I will make the drive to Savannah to see professionals.

This Dr. is very attentive, he listens and helps every way he can. He’s helped me with my neck issues of 10 years more then any Dr. I’ve seen. His staff is always smiling and very courteous. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I just had my first and last visit with him. The assistant never introduced herself, asked me questions for over an hour all the while with a major attitude problem. Dr. Karl finally came in and began to speak AT me and proceeded to tell me what he was going to do to me. He never even bothered to ask me why I came to see him. I finally had to stop him and explain to him that I had already had the procedure he wanted to do on me numerous times without any help. Very poor listener,

Karl's practice is second class. From office personnel to policy and procedure. uncaring, mediocre listener, very dictorial......seems to have his mind made up before any discussion on treatment. Mandy, both of them, very professional. the MA did not even speak to me when she entered the room til it was time to ask me my weight. they do not even have a scale to weigh patients! they send your drug screen labs to companies outside of the state and outside of your insurance EOB.

I have been treated by Dr Karl for nearly 4 yrs now. He and his staff are very caring. I have had to wait for extended time when arriving on time. However once you have been in and visited with the doctor you will come to understand that he treats each patient individually and takes the necessary time to treat, schedule, or preform short procedures to help the pain of his patient. To live with pain is difficult. To live with pain and not have a caring doctor is a nightmare. I highly recommend.

Worst experience ever. The doctor and his staff, particularly the receptionist, are extremely rude and uncaring. On one particular visit, I waited over 3 hours to see the doctor even though I had a scheduled appointment that I was on time for. He is one of the most arrogant and condescending people that I have ever had the misfortune to meet. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy.

I am pleased with the overall experience with Dr Karl & Staff. I understand why there is wait times because each pt is different. sometimes I will get a shoulder or knee injection and decide to do it that day after consulting with him. I have always left satisfied.
