Dr. Patrick Leung, MD

Went to see Dr Leung for first and last time for hip pain. Was x-rayed and was told most likely muscular, to take acetaminophen. Pain has increased exponentially since that time, walking is difficult…two calls to office and no response from doctor. Got the distinct impression that since my condition did not warrant surgery that my case was tossed in the wastebasket. I would avoid this doctor, and if this is the type of doctor this practice hires, I would avoid the entire orlin and Cohen practice.

Dr. Leung replaced my Right hip using an Anterior approach and the results so far exceeded my expectations I am compelled to review him 5 Stars. He and his team performed the surgery in about 90 minutes. Within a hour of recovery from the anesthesia I was walking. My PT (also at Orlin Cohen) went without any problems, back to work at 7 weeks. The hip is solid, I'm free from pain and my outlook on the future is to say the least, brighter. Thank you Dr. Leung!!!

Dr. Leung is an excellent surgeon! He’s very understanding, caring and patient and took the time to listen to all my concerns. He thoroughly explained my hip replacement surgery and what to expect. I received expert care and his staff was great too. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist.

Awful from beginning to end. We waited over an hour and a half before seeing anyone. I think the PA only came in because I finally opened the door to our room. We never even saw Dr. Leung, only the PA who talked about the possibility of surgery in front of my anxious 11 year old. He then came back and said the dr. Said he only needed a cast for three weeks. They then did an awful job putting on the cast and had to use white tape where they messed it up around his thumb. I only received information when I specifically asked. I wish I could say we will never return but we’ll be back in three weeks. Hoping it goes more smoothly!

June 29, 2020 - Dr. Leung did hip replacement on my right hip. I went home the same day with no pain. Oct 26, 2020 - Dr. Leung replaced my right hip a second time because the first implant was too small and kept popping in and out of the socket. January 21, 2021 - Dr. Leung replaced my left hip. Most pain I've ever had after surgery. Left leg is now 1" longer than right. Saw new doctor who showed me the x-ray and the ball on the implant was not all the way into the hip socket. Leung is a HACK AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE. New doctor fixed me up. AVOID DR. LEUNG

Dr. Leung did a through assessment of my knee and communicated my condition clearly that no further action is needed at this time. I trust him.
