Straight up, this man saved my life. Upon my initial diagnosis, he was direct about what I was facing. Initially, it represented itself as a lack of compassion or bedside manner. It was exactly what was needed. He had a job to do and that was to save my life. He was determined to do it. I’m coming up on 6 years seeing Dr Ott and we’ve developed a great relationship. This man represents the pinnacle of his field and there’s a reason he’s at Dana Farber. My family and I are outrageously grateful for every day he’s given me.

Lacks communication skills, does not explain or pass on any level of care, whether good or bad. Perhaps, he needs a lesson or CEU’s on this, very disappointing.

I was able to see Dr. Ott in less than a week after requesting an appointment. He's not the "warm, fuzzy" type but he is knowledgeable, he is open, and he is honest. As a patient dealing with melanoma for the second time, as well as being a nurse, I appreciate that. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is also phenomenal. They get you in very quickly if there's an issue, which is wonderful. No long waits and wondering what's happening!
