Compassionate surgeon with a sparkling personality
I came to Mayo Clinic from NY state at the direction of my gastroenterologist at Upstate Medical Center. I met with Dr. Starlinger on the first Tuesday of my visit and he had me scheduled for surgery the following morning. He listened to my history and to my concerns, explained everything thoroughly and had a terrific bedside manner. If you need surgery related to your liver, I would definitely recommend Dr. Starlinger.

Changed my life
Major surgery buy Dr Starlinger improved my life, He removed a Stent from my bile duct that not very many doctors would try to remove. I can't express how much I appreciate what he and his team did, they made my life improve 100 percent. I also can't express how complicated this surgery was, I hope to never go through anything like it again in life, but if I do he and his team are the only ones I want. Thank you for changing my life for the better.

Spectacular surgeon and person
Dr. Starlinger very promptly got me into surgery and eliminated a very aggressive tumor in my pancreas. He is a tremendous person and a spectacular surgeon. He saved my life and I am eternally grateful. To top it all off he's extremely easy to talk to and just a very nice person. Finding him to perform my surgery is one of the luckiest and best decisions of my life.Dr. Starlinger gets my absolute highest recommendation. His last name says it all, he is an all-star!
