Best ever.....
His knowledge is unquestionable. What I appreciate the most about him is his candor and caring demeanor. I have not found another doctor in Tulsa like him.

For a doctor, he needs some health improvements
First, Harvard Family Physicians are horrible about wait times. Always keep you waiting for half an hour before you see an actual doctor. You might be asked to go to a room and you will be waiting in there for ever. That right there is a big sign of them not caring about their patients as how they should! Now, for Dr Vanshoyck, this might sound horrible but the truth is when you go to see a doctor, you would expect someone that takes care of itself as well. He’s an overweight person that has issues getting around and seems like is always out of breath. When i saw it, i questioned if the advise he gives about being healthy, ever resonates with himself. As well, took forever for him to come see me. It seems that’s a regular pattern at Harvard Family Phys.

The best
I have been going to Dr Van for 30+ years. He is such a great listener and does not rush you out the door. He is so knowledgeable, it’s kind of mind blowing. You may have a bit of a wait, because he takes him time with each patient.

Very Good Listener
Dr. Van listens well to my issues. The few times I saw a specialist the diagnosis and treatment was the same as Dr. Van's. He treats my parents, my husband and me, my Daughter and granddaughter.

I've gone to Dr Van for decades. He listens, he cares, & he is proactive to find answers when things need answers. I feel comfortable speaking with him about anything & knowing I will get an honest answer. I hope he never retires, I'll be lost!!

I have been going to see Dr Van since I was a kid. He has always been very patient with my questions, and wants you to know what is going on. Very professional, and funny!

I had a horrible experience at Harvard Family Physicians. Yesterday I was there for an initial appointment to see Dr. Van and my appointment was scheduled for 11am. I was still waiting to see him at 12:15pm and ended up walking out because I had to get back to work. I wasn't even taken back to a room until I asked what was going on after waiting for 45 minutes in the lobby. I find this very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I took off two hours from work and was not paid so that I could see the doctor. So not only was my time wasted, but money was too. Very disappointed.

Dr. Van is the best. The only downside to having him as your doctor, is that sometimes you may have a bit of a wait. That's because he's taking his time listening to all the patient has to say that he is with. you can expect that he will listen to and address everything you have to say when he's with you. He is the most caring doctor by far.

Dr. Van has always listened to me and carefully checked to see what is going on. He usually acts like a close friend that is frank and willing to tell you what is really going on in your body, sometimes, when you even don't really want to know, but you need to know. He will either treat you or refer you to someone who will take care of the problem you have.
