Joke
I had brought myself down to the minimum dose I could tolerate,(.50 mcg /48 hr fentanyl). Then I had my first appointment with Dr Watson by phone, I explained what surgeries I’ve had, where my chronic pain was and how I’m coping now. Dr Watson ASSURED ME VERBALLY, that he would keep me on the patches for the rest of my life! I was reassured. When I was out of the patches he had me come in. I was brought into HIS OFFICE where he proceeded to inform me that he was not going to refill the prescription, that I WOULD BE TAPERING OFF MY MEDICATION, and that he was not going to allow me to take this medication for my pain! I was speechless! I reminded him that he just lied to me! Kaisers goal is to get everyone off opioids. He never even examined me! Never looked at or had me do anything to show my disabilities! He just didn’t care about ANYTHING except getting me off my medication. A more unprofessional, arrogant and uncaring doctor I’ve ever met. He should not be allowed to treat patients

Dr Watson was amazing. He listened to what I had to say and did not talk over me or jump to conclusions. We spent 45 minutes going over my never pain issues, how it happened and what I had tried so far to relieve the pain. He explained things very well, gave me many well explained options and then took several steps to help instead of just trying one. It is the first time in 26 years of having this pain, that someone finally seems to know how to help and what is going on in my body. Great Doctor

Extremely likable. Laughs at my jokes and shows a lot of interest in what's ailing me. He LISTENS! Just beginning my pain management but this tells me right off the bat that I'm in good hands. ??
